Leone D'Oro GUESTHOUSE - close to Piazza Vittorio

Pros: Very welcoming, well-kept and well-organised establishment. You can sense the attention to detail and careful management of hospitality. A truly pleasant stay and an absolutely positive experience.

Really good value for money in good location.

Pros: We had the triple room and it looks exactly like the photo. There's a kettle, coffee machine, toiletries, hairdryer, air con, tv. The guy at reception was lovely and friendly. Location really good, there's metro station across the road that takes you to the Colosseum & Termini. We walked to the Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps, as well as the Vatican. We did stop for lunch and beer en route to the Vatican though. Reading the reviews here, I got the impression there were loads of homeless outside. We saw one guy who was completely harmless. He spent a lot of the time spinning around, I come from Brighton in the UK and that would be seen as 'interpretive dance' here! :0)

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like, although my son was not a fan of the lift and decided to walk 3 flights of stairs.

Pros: I had a wonderful stay in this room. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The bed was very cozy, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor. The location was great, close to everything I needed. Communication with the host was easy and fast. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Marvelous

Pros: When I saw the outside of the building I was a bit skeptical, but once inside I was surprised. It is not a 5-star hotel, but it is very well taken care of. It has some imperfections that give it a lovely atmosphere! The check-in was easy, and the staff kind. My room was clean and spacious.

Cons: The only issue was that the wifi was a bit slow from my room, if they solved this little thing it's be a 10 for me.

overall it was excellent and we will not only use it during our next time but will also recommend it

Pros: Everything was excellent, location wise it is jujst few minutes walk (6-700 meters) from rome Terminalie, Owner as well as staff was very good and helpful, during the late checkin when we were lost, they helped us by mutltiple telephone and even video calls despite it being almost midnight. Staff was very good and helpful. Room as well as bed wer very clean and of good quality. There were plenty of good yet inexpensive restaurants and bar within few minutes walk.

Cons: Maybe Toilet could have been little bigger but then in that much amount one cannot expect more. Also as is common in such tourist center, there were 2 / 3 homeless or maybe drugged/shady people outside in the area but I do not think it is a big deal

Excellent

Pros: Everything you needed. Clean and very well decorated. Easy to navigate yourself around work

Pros: Everything was clean and cozy. Location was great - only 10-15 minute walk to the Colosseum. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The walls were paper thin and the people next to us were quite loud and very chatty. On the last day we noticed that the lock on our door didn´t work, so the door might have been unlocked for the whole time. Fortunately nothing was stolen and the staff fixed the problem quickly.

Guest House Review – Rome

Pros: I recently stayed at a guest house in Rome and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was a good size, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, making it a comfortable base for exploring the city.

Cons: However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The room was located on the 5th floor, which was a bit inconvenient, especially with luggage. Additionally, the loft area was quite small, which made it feel a bit cramped. One of the main issues we faced was with the hot water—the boiler kept turning off, and we had to frequently go to the reception area to request it to be turned back on, which was a bit of a hassle.

Pros: Comfortable, clean and nice..and good location and very good coffee machine in room
