Around The Corner Colosseo B&B

Fantastic location, facilities and hosts.

Pros: Silvia provided what we asked for to eat at breakfast. The rooms are like a self-contained apartment with a lot of privacy. Paola works in two of the other rooms on evenings during the week but we never heard her. The location is exceptional - literally a couple of minute's walk to Santa Maria Maggiore and less than 10 minutes to Termini station for trains and buses. There are excellent supermarkets close by for self-catering or lots of places to eat.

Cons: It was noisy and people were celebrating in the bar next door for a couple of nights, but we were more than happy with it. A. It's the centre of Rome and B. you are in the heart of a vibrant community.

Pros: The B&B is very well located, close to the Colosseum and the Trevi fountain. Silvia was very welcoming and made us feel at home. She provided everything we needed for breakfast 😊

A lovely stay in Rome despite the off-centre location.

Pros: The flat was lovely and spacious (which is rare in Rome). It is set in an old building but the flat has been renovated and feels 'new' and fresh. The bathroom was clean and modern, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Although the flat is 'shared' with the owner, we pretty much had the place to ourselves during our 3-night stay as the guest flat is cleverly cordoned off from the main area to provide for a private entrance and bathroom. Aside from the Coliseum, the flat is also very close to the Basilica Santa Maggiore for those who would like to visit the late Pope Francis's tomb.

Cons: The water pressure of the shower was weak, so it takes a long time to wash off your soap and shampoo. BUT this is more than made up by the fact that the bathroom is so clean and modern! The location is quite far from other big sights aside from the Coliseum. For instance, while we managed to walk to Piazza Navona and the Trevi Fountain, we had to take a cab back as it was an uphill 30-minute walk back home. The Vatican is even further away. We took taxis to get there and back.

Pros: Thank you, Around The Corner Colosseo B&B for the wonderful experience. Silvia and Paula gave us all the information we needed for a pleasant stay. The ladies were attentive to all the details and pleasantly surprised us every time. The apartment is very spacious and clean, equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent, close to the tourist attractions. We felt very good there, it was very relaxing and pleasant.

Pros: The property was bigger then expected which was a pleasant surprise. The bedroom was prettier than shown in pictures. The facility was immaculately clean. The location was perfect, near train station and main attractions. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Pros: The host was very friendly and helpful. They provided with ample of brakefast and stuff for us and ready to help all the time. The location was excellent.. Close to terminal, bus station, metro was bit far. Nice place.

Pros: Central appartment, near to bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. Owners were amazing very helpful and polite.

Charming apartment with a give

Pros: Sylvia is a great host, every day she asked if we needed sth. The Location was perfect, just a few minuta from Colosseo and Termini. We recommend a bar opposite with decent prices. Also Terra gelato is out of this world.

Pros: Very kind and responsive hostesses Paola and Silvia. The apartment is really beautiful, clean, well-kept and welcoming with all the amenities and great attention to detail: a varied breakfast selection, an espresso coffee machine with capsules available to guests. Conveniently located for sightseeing and close to the train station. But the most important thing is the warm, sensitive attitude to guests. When we left, personalized gifts were waiting for us on the door handle in the hallway. We did not want to leave this house and such lovely hostesses. Many thanks to them for such a warm welcome!
