We had a wonderful week at B&B L’Esquilina and intend to return soon!

Pros: Arriving a day earlier due to changed flights was no problem. Arriving late at night after 3 days travel, we found the location very easily as the owner’s instructions and photos were very precise. Immacutely clean, extremely comfortable bed, fantastic location, adjacent to Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore. A lovely area with lots of restaurants, cafes, shops and far enough from the main station to ensure quietness. No need to use public transport - we walked everywhere.Breakfast was delightful with varied and ample choices. A great coffee machine. Wonderful bathroom with endless hot water and strong water pressure. The towels are outstanding - very thick and large and I would say comparable to 5-star hotels. The owner was extra friendly, helpful and very willing to assist with any enquiries we had. We found a real gem here with this property, and we will be back!

Value for money. Good location.

Pros: Excellent location with good transport links. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The bed was quite comfortable.

Cons: Although the toilet was superficially clean, the toilet taps were full of limescale. The toilet was a bit old fashioned but everything worked fine.

Fabulous Rome break.

Pros: Really good location near to the train station. Andrea is a friendly, accommodating host and ensured we got the best out of our stay. Comfortable bed and plenty of buffet/ self- serve breakfast. Like a home from home. Andrea was also very patient with me trying to speak in Italian!

Pros: Everything! The room was clean with extra little touches, including a decent hairdryer! We had a self-serve breakfast every morning, which was set out ready to go. It was a bonus having access to a washing machine! The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. Great location! Highly recommend!
