Overall, a great stay with an affordable price, outstanding hospitality and a convenient location.

Pros: We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived, thanks to the host’s kindness and warmth. Giorgio offered tailored advice on local attractions and excellent restaurant recommendations, and prepared a delicious breakfast each morning, including great espresso. The property is ideally located, just a short walk from the central railway station, St. Maria Maggiore Church, and the Colosseum.

Pros: If you are a group of guys any age staying there it s great. Giorgio will tell you about everything you need to know to visit and things, clubs etc. He knows everything. Also the breakfast there is so worth it, quality food, you would pay like 20-25€ just for that at a restaurant.

Pros: The host made us feel at home. We were greeted with kindness and warmth. Giorgio helped us with directions to the tourist attractions and in the morning he prepared delicious breakfast for us.

A warm Italian welcome in central Rome.

Pros: Giorgio and Katia are so warm and welcoming that you feel like part of their family. Gite House is really like a home away from home in the middle of busy Rome. Our room was plain but had everything we needed including a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Location was great, close to the central railway station and St Maria Maggiore church.

Pros: Gite House is a cozy place, conveniently located for taking the train, the metro, the bus, or starting a nice walk around Rome. It has a small elevator that makes it easier to move luggage. Giorgio was a great host who welcomed us in his kitchen with refreshments and excellent recommendations for exploring the city. Every morning, he prepared a delicious homemade breakfast with local products.

Like staying with family

Pros: Everything! The location is excellent to take the metro, train or bus, anything you may need. It¿'s close to many atractions and Giorgio's warmness is amazing. Every morning we were received by freshly home made breakfast (scrambled eggs/bruschettas/coffee), and with so many options it was basically a buffet. I had read that breakfast was awesome, but just wasn't prepared for such level of awesomeness. Will definitely stay here again when I'm back in Rome.
