Mama Roma Domus

Pros: really good location. it was super clean and the staff was nice. if you want something in rome safe and just to sleep after a long day, its perfect!

Pros: The location is excellent, closer to Roma termini and 5 minute walk to Manzoni station. Colosseum is only 12 mins by foot. In front of the building there is bus stop going to termini only 4 stops. There is supermarket Conad and bar and lots of restaurants closer to hotel. The Best Carbonara Trattoria Da Danilo is only at the back of the hotel. Jane is lovely person and helpful. I will recommend Mama Roma domus . I will come back again!

Perfect stay in clean B&B with lovely owner

Pros: A clean and simple B&B with a lovely owner Jane. She was so kind and welcoming especially with my 3 year old and spoiled him with lots of juice and treats. “The room” was his favourite part of the holiday. Jane gave lots of helpful recommendations for restaurants and sites in the area. Nice coffee and breakfast was served each morning in the room. It’s in a great location, short walk to colosseum and close to bus/metro stops. It’s on a nice street with a lot of bistros, cafes, restaurants close by but a bit removed from the bustle of the busy tourist areas. We appreciated the comfortable bed and pillows and sparkling clean bathroom. It’s on the fourth floor but thankfully there is a (tiny) elevator. The B&B had all the basics for what we needed and was a nice comfortable homebase for our stay in Rome.

Warm, welcoming stay in a great location

Pros: Lovely stay at Mama Roma Domus. Great location, close to metro, the buses were on the doorstep, and (if you're a walker) it's within walking distance of many sights -- I walked most days. The accommodation was charming and full of character. Plenty of great coffee and food options nearby, which I especially appreciated as a Melbournian -- the hosts gave fantastic recommendations. Hosts were incredibly warm, attentive, and helpful, which made my solo trip completely stress-free, as a first-time traveller with no Italian. They even went above and beyond by packing breakfast for me when I had full-day tours. Highly recommend -- thank you so much Jane!

Pros: Staff was nice, Jane (the owner) helped us with everything we needed. The place is simple but clean, comfortable, in a good location, and has a charming vibe to it. Also enjoyed the breakfast being served to the room.

Pros: Nice room with bathroom. The owner Jane was very friendly and helpful. She was in contact with us the same minute as the reservation was done. She was also giving us useful info on Rome or whatever we needed. The location is also very good Closw to Colloseum.

Pros: Quiet peaceful place with remarkable floor and cozy bed. Good space to relax.

An amazing base in Rome with a lovely couple who really looked after us

Pros: Myself and my mum visited as a trip that was supposed to have happened the year Covid hit, we had no idea where to book and stumbled across Mama Roma Domus by chance, so glad we did, what a great location! 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum and Santa Maria Maggiore; a great base. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfy which was totally surprised by as i never expect much when travelling. Jane and her husband were so welcoming and kind; arranging pick up and drop off at the airport as well as telling us where to visit and recommending places to eat, as well as keeping us updated with local goings on, train delays, weather, traffic; just really lovely, helpful people. Breakfast is served in the room and is a great way to start the day. Jane made our stay so easy, like a home from home. A lovely lady.

Cons: Hard to find any real negatives that relate to Mama Roma Domus/Jane. The only thing I didn’t like was the lift and Jane has no control over that!! And that was only because I’m a wimp; it’s a little old and you’re able to see out of it as it moves - easy solution for me though was to take the stairs!

Nice location for a short stay in Rome

Pros: Jane was very nice and assisted a lot - even with pick up from airport etc. Good location - city can be easily reached by walking (or bus or metro). Room was small but ok for a few nights.

Cons: It is a little bit noisy, as breakfast was prepared in front of our room - but was no issue as we were up early . Very little space in the room for having breakfast.
