An unforgettable stay in the heart of Rome

Pros: Our stay at Locanderia Roma was truly exceptional. The location is simply amazing: just a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. Every evening, after dinner, we would walk over and admire it beautifully illuminated. Those moments made our experience in Rome unforgettable. The metro is there as well. A special thank you to the Manager, Matteo, who made our stay the best experience we could have hoped for. Each morning we were welcomed with fresh bakery treats, the fridge was full of goods and champagne at our discretion and his thoughtful advice on how to get around, what to visit, and where to eat was invaluable. His hospitality and attention to detail made us feel genuinely cared for. The housekeeping service was impeccable throughout our stay, with everything perfectly maintained. We will definitely return soon and highly recommend Locanderia Roma to anyone looking for a warm, cozy, and perfectly located place to stay in Rome.

Pros: Thank you for having us our studio was clean comfortable homely everything we needed was there close to buses trains supermarket and restaurants , we loved continental breakfast brought to our door and items in the fridge and cereals tea coffee jams spreads etc . Cleaning staff great our room was cleaned daily fridge restocked a home from home staff great nothing was to much trouble thanks for great restaurant recommendations ! We had dinner in a restaurant recommended 3 nights in a row with a fab view of the colosseum great value fab food thank you we would stay again x thank you for having us

Cons: We did ask for 1 extra pillow for our daughter but this was not available but did not effect our stay and fully understand

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was great, the toiletries were plentiful and well provided, and everything was comfortable and clean. The host was very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Pros: Matteo was an excellent host, accomodation was perfect for exploring Rome. Room was comfortable and very clean the added fresh croissant and bread roll every morning to go along with the stocked fridge of ham, cheese, water, milk and a lovely surprise of proseco and coke Matteo also supposed us with a big bottle of champagne for my husbands 50th. Thank you 😊

Pros: We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The attention to detail was exceptional — there was everything you could possibly need, including full bathroom amenities, slippers, tissues, cotton pads, and even socks. Breakfasts were excellent: fresh croissants and pastries every morning. The fridge was well stocked with great food and drinks, and there was also good coffee available. This really helped save both time and money and made the stay even more comfortable.

A wonderful stay

Pros: Fantastic location - very close to the Colosseum and the metro station. Clean. Comfortable beds. Well-stocked bathroom and kitchen. Very kind and helpful host — kudos to Andrea, he was a great pleasure to deal with.

Pros: If I could give 20 I would! I’ve been to a lot of hotels and apartments all over the world and this one is by far the best. Andrea was so kind, I wish every host would be like him - so attentive and keen to the details to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Guys - don’t hesitate to book Locanderia, you won’t be disappointed but please, read the description first - remember it has an external bathroom which is totally private and exclusive for the room but it’s totally alright, you’ll have as much privacy as it gets. Oh, I almost forgot - it’s so close to the Colosseum and other attractions you can see it from the street :) Anyway, thank you so much for having us! We’ll be back…

Pros: Excellent location, close to metro station (Manzoni) and shops. 10 minute walk from Colosseum but away from the touristy parts - it feels authentic and local. The host Andrea was fantastic, so kind and helpful. He went the extra mile for us to help with a luggage problem at the airport - an act of kindness that we will always remember. The apartment is simple, comfortable, very clean, and plentiful - a very generous amount of snacks, drinks, coffee and freshly baked bread each morning. Everything you could need, and more.
