Comfortable, welcoming, spacious and in a great location

Pros: Beautifully presented, very charming, lots of space, great location

Cons: The 40 stairs were challenging with the bags, but Federico helped us and it was just the one time when we arrived. Otherwise we managed just fine.

A comfortable apartment near the Colosseum

Pros: This apartment is perfectly located for the Colosseum, it is literally a couple of roads away, and about a 25mins walk to the Trevi Fountain and other sites. There are a number of steps up to the apartment, but once there it was spacious and comfortable. The bed was large (though a little firm) and the separate living room meant you could spread out (note: no tv). Plenty of sockets dotted around. We did not use the kitchen facilities, only the fridge. The aircon worked well. A lovely gesture to receive some wine on arrival. There are a number of nice restaurants nearby (we particularly liked Benso) and some bars dotted around for drinks. Over all, we had a relaxing few days in Rome and I would recommend this apartment to others.

Cons: We had not realised you could not drink the water in the apartment taps. As we arrived late in the evening, we were unprepared with no bottled water and struggled to find somewhere open to buy some. So a suggestion would be to provide a bottle of water for guests on arrival. You can drink water in Rome, just the plumbing was different at this apartment apparently!
