Pros: Great location with plenty of transport options. Tremendous patisserie around the corner, several supermarkets and bars.

Comfortable and clean ideal base for sightseeing from.

Pros: The property location & size was ideal for our requirements. The directions and access information received from the host was perfect.

Cons: Everything was good for us as we just needed a base to sleep and wash.

Pros: Perfect stay in the heart of Rome! We stayed here as a family and couldn’t have made a better choice. The location is absolutely excellent – a peaceful Aventino neighborhood, yet just a short walk from the city’s main attractions, with great public transport links and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Communication was smooth, and we really appreciated the flexibility, especially when traveling with kids. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We can warmly recommend this place to families looking for a cozy base to explore the beauty of Rome.

Authentic apartment with all comforts required

Pros: The apartment is so well located. The area is accessible to all the top 10 sites via metro, yet is in an area that gives you a true Italian experience. The piazza half a block away is so charming. Restaurants, supermarkets, cute shops, gelato, all within a 2-3 min walk.

Short stay

Pros: The host was very helpful and the location of the apartment was fantastic. Good restaurant, coffee shop, bakery and transport all within a few minutes walk.

Cons: A few of the light switches needed some attention and the main TV wouldn't work but there was a secondary one in the main bedroom.

Good location, basic but good value for money

Pros: Location is very good, you can go walking to Trastevere, there are multiple bus and metro stops around, supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment is equipped with all basic needs, functioning kitchen, so for us it was basic but good. The bedrooms are spacious.

Cons: I was not aware that one of the bedrooms had a sofa-bed, which was not per se very uncomfortable mattress, but it made a lot of noise when you turn around during the night, so it was not very good sleep for me and my husband who’s a light sleeper.

Loved this Italian neighborhood.

Pros: Loved Testaccio neighborhood. Everything was so convenient, cafe, bakery, market. B metro Piramid was 10 minutes away. Easy connections to rest of city. I prefer an Italian neighborhood rather than touristy

Cons: My mother is elderly so it took a while to walk to metro. The uneven sidewalks are sketchy. We always had to watch our steps.

Testaccio, a perfect city stay

Pros: Getting into the apartment was made very easy with the clear instructions from the owner and host. Even though we arrived at near 2am, everything was very smooth. The area has a great vibe. A local feel with families and tourists sharing the area and it's facilities. Transport was nearby and easy to use, even for far of locations like Pompeii. The host answered all our questions promptly and guided us in the right direction, even during strike action by the transport network. A great spot

Cons: There was no welcome pack, of milk, tea, coffee etc. That would have been a nice addition, but shops are so nearby it wasn't to much of an issue

Good place to explore Rome from

Pros: Location is great, close to public transport. Very good area. Friendly and helpful host.

Cons: The overall apartment could be refreshed.
