Domus Testaccio

As nice an apartment as we’ve stayed in which contributed to a lovely holiday.

Pros: Very spacious,clean,2 large bathrooms,had every facility.very nice quiet neighbourhood,plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, walking distance to colosseum area.bus and train station 5 minutes.didnt use Uber once.Owner was friendly and helpful also.

Cons: Can’t think of anything.

Beautiful view, great neighbourhood

Pros: Lovely and bright apartment in a great neighbourhood. Fantastic view from the balcony

Cons: The shower in one of the bathroom didn’t work. It was abit uncomfortable showering in the bathtub

Pros: Liked everything about this property, the location is close to Trastevere(most happening street of Rome), Close to metro and Ostiense Train station. Super helpful host. The apartment was extremely pretty and well maintained.

Cons: Please fix the masterbedroom shower. It won’t work.

Nice stay, we will be back

Pros: Location was good, it is a large and nice apartment with a cozy balcony and decent beds.

Cons: The shower in one bathroom did not work, there was no water in the shower. It was not so clean in the bathrooms, the floor and in general.

Cons: La seconda stanza da letto, con due letti singoli, come avevo richiesto, è in realtà troppo piccola per ospitare due persone adulte. Andrebbe precisato che è una singola con secondo letto d’emergenza. Il resto della casa è eccellente

Pros: Appartamento grande e pulito. Abbiamo viaggiato in 4 adulti e un cagnolino piccolo ed è stato tutto perfetto. Due bagni sono stati una vera comodità per noi. Bella la zona, comoda per girare Roma con i mezzi. Gentilezza degli host.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is located in a nice little neighborhood. It was very convenient to walk to everything, from shopping, coffee, gelato & restaurants. It was also nice to walk to the Testaccio market and Trastevere. The apartment is a nice location and we were able to access public transportation just a block away. It was so nice to experience Rome like a local. Lots of families enjoying the park in the afternoon and weekends. Always felt very safe. The place was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful, too! We were very pleased with our stay here and would definitely choose to stay again if we are ever in Testaccio!

Charming apartment in Rome

Pros: GREAT location outside city center and very walk-able. The host was pleasantly responsive and accommodating. We reported an issue and she had her team out almost immediately to take a look and fix the problem. The small balcony and view overlooking the tree tops is soooo charming. We enjoyed the kitchen table and the late night talks we had around it. It's a short walk to coffee, a cute little piazza for late night socializing, local restaurants, and bus stops. Lovely breeze throughout the apartment when windows are open. Full length mirrors provided and lots of dresser and closet space!! If you miss the bus, attractions are no more than a 15 min Uber ride away. Amazing value and would recommend staying here.

Cons: The water in Rome is heavy in minerals so the tub had a ring around it which they did their best to remove. The shower is very very small and also had some stains which I was told was also due to the hard water. Would be nice to have shower curtains for the bathroom with the tub so guests can take a shower in either bathroom. The second bedroom is quite small and has a trundle bed (2nd bed is stored under the 1st bed). There is hardly any room left for a suitcase or ability to access the closet when the 2nd bed is pulled out. We would have preferred a couch (or sofa bed) / living room instead of a formal dining room.
