Borgo Pio Charme

Apartment is in a good location. Clear instructions on how to contact the host and bags storage.

Pros: Borgo Pio Charme is in a good location with restaurants and lots of food to eat and stores for shopping. Being near Vatican City helped and we were able to walk all around the area and enjoy the sites. The apartment is spacious and clean and we enjoyed our stay at Borgo Pio Charme and will stay at Borgo again on future trips to Rome. I will recommend the apartment to family and friends. Our hosts was very friendly and we were pleased with her and would like to thank her! Our stay in Rome was great and we enjoyed Rome very much.

Cons: Our flight to Rome arrived at 8:00 a.m. and I had made a request to Borgo Pio Charme that we need to store our luggage before 11:00 am. I was told that we cannot store our luggage until 11 a.m., so when we arrived at the apartment's location around 10:15 a.m., we had to push our luggage to an eatery to sit and wait. There was no clear instruction that once we arrive on how to contact the host, or that we need to press the call button to Borgo Pio Charme and someone will let us in. Through our own initiative, we were able to contact the host and she was able to let us in the apartment to store our luggage. Instruction could be clearer about luggage storage and how to contact our host once we arrived.

Pros: Great hosts, very attentive and answered quickly if we had any questions. A great location to the Vatican. A very smooth arrival process and the apartment was spotless.

Cons: We liked everything - the only thing I would say is that the bathroom and bedroom doors need hooks. I found we had nowhere to hang wet towels.

Short stay in Rome

Pros: The interior of the apartment is beautiful and well-designed. The location is next to Vatican City, so it is not central, but it is almost so. There are two bathrooms, which are perfect for a big group. All works flawlessly within the apartment. I would surely return another time.

Cons: You cannot drive to the apartment because the road is closed by restaurants and their tables and chairs. The lift does not go down completely, so you need to walk the last floor. The same applies when you arrive. It is better to leave the baggage downstairs, retrieve the keys, and then use the elevator. It would have been good if we had known about this before checking in.

Romantic weekend break.

Pros: Peaceful in a very good location for St Peter’s and the main tourist sites of Rome. Very clean and comfortable, we couldn’t fault it.

Pros: The apartment is in a fantastic location, within walking distance of the Vatican. During our stay, visiting St. Peter’s Basilica in the morning before exploring other attractions in Rome became our daily routine! :) Additionally, the street where the apartment is located is lined with restaurants, and there is a Carrefour nearby for convenience. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we expected, and we were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful welcome amenities, such as tea, coffee capsules, water, and more. The space was very comfortable and spacious for our group of four. We also truly appreciated Jessica’s hospitality - she helped us check in smoothly, responded promptly to all our questions, and even assisted us with storing our luggage after check-out. We highly recommend this place!

Excellent apartment for 4 close to the Vatican city

Pros: Excellent location in a very nice house. Great rooms and beds. Perfect for 4 persons (1 family or 2 couples) The apartment is in the centre but if you close the windows no noise at all. The owner was extremely helpful and provided perfect tips about Rome. I would definitely return.

Cons: One of the bathroom is very small, but it is a blessing that there are two bathrooms in overall. Nothing bed, well equipped even for a longer stay.

I really enjoyed the stay overall with my family.

Pros: The accommodation is really nice, cozy and beautiful and the location is perfect just 5 minutes walking distance from Vatican city. You can easily reach to the other monuments as well via public transport such as trevi fountain & collosium since the bus stop is also at 5 minutes walking distance.

Cons: Only thing i dislike is that the shower was not working in one of the toilets, the water pressure was really low.

Amazing

Pros: The location of this apartment it’s amazing , you can arrive by foot to every point in Rome , everything that you need it’s downstairs ( restaurants , coffee shops , supermarket )

Pros: It’s very comfortable and the staffs were extremely helpful and nice too!
