EVE Penthouse Colosseo

Location was amazing and once a few little details are sorted the apartment would be amazing too.

Pros: Excellent position close to colosseo and metro. Beds were very comfortable and apartment was clean and very safe. Many good restaurants further up road and parallel to street. The ceiling is beautiful

Cons: Unfortunately the settee was very uncomfortable. And armchairs weren’t too comfy after a little while either. Just needs a little TLC to bring it back to being fantastic. There was a shared roof top which was fantastic but only a small table and chairs but it belongs to the building so can’t expect owners of apartment to sort that out but if it was sorted and had some potted plants up there would be amazing.

Pros: The view and location were amazing and the apartment was modern and clean.

Pros: We like our stay and our contact, host during our stay was great. Will come again.

Brilliant location helpful and efficient host

Pros: Brilliant location, very organised host. Very nice place to stay for a few nights in Rome with lovely view of the colosseum through one of the windows and a shared rooftop terrace over looking the monument.

Cons: Only very minor: You needed to run the hot water and wait for a while for it to heat up.

Location was just perfect

Pros: Location location location! Exceeded our expectations from booking, to excellent comms, friendly welcome, AMAZING views, lovely little bars and restaurants on the street. Apartment was well equipped and stylish - would highly recommend.

Cons: Nothing negative to say - loved our stay and would not hesitate to book again when ion Rome

Pros: The apartment is in a great location. The view of the Colosseum from our room was unbelievable. The rooftop terrace had a fantastic view over the Colosseum, Palantine Hill and the surrounding area. We spent a great deal of time up there. It was close to the Metro Station and had many restaurants and bars right outside our door, including a supermarket just around the block.

Cons: The owner was over an hour late from the agreed time to meet, initially leaving us standing on the small footpath with our luggage in all the foot traffic around the alfresco dining. He eventually sent us the front door code so we could wait in the lobby for him. After we were given access to our apartment, we had no further contact from him. Only issue with the apartment was three small bins for rubbish, recycling, etc. (about 8 litres each) and no replacement liners. This was for 4 people for 5 nights.

Pros: Great location. Nice clean and modern apartment and helpful staff.

Cons: 30 euros late arrival fee for arrivals after 9pm was a lot and only 1 set of keys. The roof terrace could be great, but there's nothing up there.

Decent apartment in good location.

Pros: Location great, great view of colosseum from main bedroom and rooftop. Needed a washing machine for family of five so suited well.

Cons: Shower smelt of urine and there was no trap under the ensuite sink, the flexi hose that had been connected was linked straight into the waste pipe causing sewer smells to enter the bathroom and apartment and therefore had to be adjusted by my husband.

Really great stay, would highly recommend!

Pros: Great location! Quiet, in nice part of town. Apartment a good size for 4. Nice to have the communal terrace for some drinks in the evening.

Cons: It needs some hooks on the back of doors for dressing gowns/coats/towels, the coffee machine didn’t pierce the pods properly and there needs to be more shelves for storage of toiletries etc.
