Perfect stay in a local, authentic area of Rome with a lovely host – we’d definitely come back!

Pros: We loved our stay! The flat is in an amazing location, right in front of Testaccio Market, in a lovely local neighbourhood full of great authentic restaurants and away from the tourist crowds. It’s super easy to get to the centre either walking or by bus – we walked everywhere and it was such a great experience. The host was wonderful – very attentive and communicative. Our flight home was late and she kindly let us check out later with no extra charge, which was so appreciated. Rome is such a beautiful city, and we’d happily stay here again next time we visit!

Pros: The host was very professional, prompt, and friendly in communicating. The apartment is directly across from Testacio Mercato and close to public transport. The apartment is in a pleasant residential area of Roma. Highly recommend.

Pros: The location was great — easy access to all transport routes and not far to walk either. There were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area and a good market across the road.

Cons: The air conditioning was very poor – it didn’t really work well, was too loud to sleep with it on, and didn’t cool the room much anyway. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to open the courtyard gate from the inside.

Excellent accomodation

Pros: The accommodation was excellent, clean, and comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful and always assisted us with all our questions. The location is good, with several bus stops nearby, and if you enjoy walking, you can reach the main landmarks on foot (around 30 minutes). I highly recommend it to everyone.

Cons: The apartment is on the second floor, and since we had a lot of baggage, it was a bit tiring to go up, as there is no elevator. But it didn’t affect our stay.

Great experience

Pros: Everything was perfect, very nice and comfortable apartment with everything you need while traveling (including washing machine and iron, great bed and towels. You gonna feel like local!)

Pros: Gioia Romana is a perfect place to stay if you wanna visit Rome. It's close to Vatican and even closer to Centre of Rome if you want to walk there but close to the bus or tram stations as well. At the apartment you have got literally everything you need. It's clean, fresh and comfortable. The area is safe and quiet and the owner is very nice and caring. There is a MUST SEE market with local food across the street. Don't hesitate to book. We would stay here again. Grazie mille Gioia Romana! <3

Great stay in the lovely neighbourhood Testaccio!

Pros: The location of the house is super great, the neighbourhood Testaccio is quiet and very lovely, near the Tiber and Mercato Testaccio, with some nice restaurants, bars and sweet shops nearby. The house is quiet, neighbours very kind. It feels really safe and homey. We brought bicyles and we could lock them in the building. In the appartment is eveyrthing you need. We were very happy to stay at Gioia Romana, the owner Michela was very nice, the instructions how to get into the house and get the keys were very useful and easy to follow. We could reach her always when needed. We recommend her service and accommodation. Thank you. 🩷

Bardzo dobry.

Pros: Mieszkanie w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji. Blisko komunikacja tj. metro B, autobusy. Na przeciwko mieszkania targ, dookoła sporo lokalnych knajpek. Blisko na Zatybrze co dla nas było ważne.Samo mieszkanie idealne dla 3 osób dorosłych lub 2+2. Najważniejsze rzeczy były zapewnione. Dla nas to była głównie miejscówka na nocleg, także z większości udogodnień nie korzystaliśmy. Kontakt z właścicielem bardzo dobry! Zdjęcia pokazują okolice.

Cons: Przydałoby się podokręcać kilka rzeczy bo już ledwo się trzymają zawiasów

Tolle Lage, super Gastgeber

Pros: Tolle Kommunikation. Blitzsaubere Unterkunft. Die Lage und das Gebäude sind sehr authentisch. Nah am Zentrum, aber abseits des Touristentrubels. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.
