Vatican house 98

We had a very comfortable, happy stay at Vatican House 98. The location, the apartment, the host - all of it was perfect

Pros: The property was in an excellent location. It was big enough for four of us to stay in comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped. The flat was very clean. The host (Marco) was in touch with us regularly before we arrived and was there to meet us. He was very helpful and kind.

A very nice spacious apartment at a great location, supported by a helpful host

Pros: Having 3 bedrooms with proper beds was a big plus for the family. The location is great with everything you need close by: restaurants, supermarket, shops, bus, metro, St. Peter square. Marco is a great host and checked in frequently via whatsapp. The apartment has high ceilings which gives a spacious feeling . The airco’s worked well during the hot days in August.

Cons: Some miscommunication on making the third bed upon arrival which couldn’t be resolved the same day. We experienced noise from the upstairs neighbors until late, which is probably difficult to prevent with apartments rented out.

Spaceous apartment close to Vatican, good value

Pros: The apartment is spacious and located in a very good location. The building has both stairs and an elevator, making the apartment easily accessible for everyone. It’s well-equipped, and our stay was very enjoyable. The neighborhood also feels very safe. Marco, the host, was also great, he’s very responsive and helped with everything we needed. We would definitely come again!

Cons: It fulfilled my expectations so there's nothing special to dislike.

Great place at a great price

Pros: The apartment was very nice, had three bedrooms, a beautiful bathroom with great water pressure (so rare in Rome’s old buildings!), and a nice kitchenette with enough dishes and cookware to get by (since you want to eat out in Rome anyway!). Marco, the host, is very helpful and responsive!

Cons: There was nothing to not like about the apartment. Unfortunately, there was construction on the street outside, but that’s not something the host can control. However, right now, earplugs are a necessity.

Great location. Attentive host. We would definitely stay again.

Pros: The location was excellent and Marco was a very attentive host. We visited in 38c heat wave and the aircon throughout the property was a lifesaver. Comfy beds, and good shower.

This accommodation was excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone. 10/10

Pros: Marco, our host, was excellent. He met us there to give us the keys and walked us through the property showing us how to use everything and all the facilities that were available. The property was very close to the Vatican and the metro. It was in the perfect location. If you like walking you can walk to all of the attractions, else you can use the metro which is a 2 minute walk away.

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about the property and the location.

Great location, accommodation and host!

Pros: The apartment is as in the photos which was already a great sign when we arrived. It is spacious, air conditioned and comfortable. There are works on the street in front, however the sound proofing is good and we could hear it only faintly. Marco has been a great host from the moment we booked to during our day. He has been helpful when we had questions and needed recommendations. And the location is excellent with the proximity to the Vatican city as well as the metro station which is 2 mins walk away.

Cons: Nothing to not like. One recommendation though that we shared with Marco is for an iron in the apartment which would be really useful.

Pros: Very large rooms, very comfortable beds. Good location, Vatican is 5 min away.

Perfect stay

Pros: Everything was perfect. The flat was spacious and clean. The beds are really comfortable. Wonderful location,just 5 minutes from the Vatican, around the corner the metro station. Marco is a perfect host. He was always available and helped us if we had some questions. He organised our transfer from the airport too. We were really early but we could store our luggage. It was a wonderful stay,hope we can go back again. Grazie mille,Marco

Excellent experience. Definitely recommend it.

Pros: The house has an excellent location—only 2 minutes' walk from the Ottaviano metro station. It is 8 minutes' walk from Vatican. There is a good pizza shop only 1 minute's walk from it, and there is a Jolibee fried chicken restaurant 2 minutes' from it. The host provided free luggage deposit both before check-in and after check-out, which is very nice. There are three bedrooms, all spacious and clean. The bathroom is also spacious. There is a balcony for smoking. The house is located on the 1st floor and there is no elevator.

Cons: Everything is excellent. If I have to say something, the shower enclosure is a bit small.
