Beautiful apartment , great views, spacious and In a great location.
Pros: The property is in a very convenient location. Only minutes walk down to trastevere- Basilica of Santa Maria etc. The apartment itself is beautiful, very spacious and feels safe.
Cons: It wasn’t a problem for us but steps to the property (46) may be a problem for some folk.

Beautiful apartment in Trastavere
Pros: Beautiful apartment on edge of Trastavere. Surrounded by greenery and away from noise of Trastavere and Rome. Great cafes nearby. Enough space for 3 adults and 2 children. Would happily stay here again.
Cons: Small fold out bed in study. Would have been great if this was a proper bedroom or had a fold out couch. Few minor maintenance issues that could easily be fixed.

Comfortable & Well Appointed Apartment in Trastevere was perfect for our trip to Rome!
Pros: The apartment is in a gated, secure building in Trastevere. A key or gate code is required to enter the stairs to the building. It was well appointed with microwave, refrigerator/freezer, stove, dishwasher, dishware, utensils and washing machine. We found the apartment very comfortable. A small grocery store is located about a 1/4 mile from the rental for provisions.
Cons: It's important to mention that there is a significant exterior stairway to get up to the building from the street level. For people who have mobility issues, this is not the rental for you.

Ideal!
Pros: The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and was spotlessly clean and very well furnished with whatever we might need. The location is perfect. It’s close enough to everything in Rome, but the isolated location in the green hill of Trastevere making it an ideal retreat from the Madding crowds of Rome. I would highly recommend it for a family vacation. A spacious and gorgeous place.

No huge surprises
Pros: There are no serious glitches, despite the lack of reviews. It’s somebody’s apartment that they moved out of for sometime, leaving their furniture. The property is on the edge of a hill. You walk up 3 stories on the roads, then there’s a 3-story outdoor stairway, then there’s 2-stories of building stairs or elevator. This gives you an above average view from being 8-stories up. In February 2024, there was daily mid day construction in a neighboring apartment, although it wasn’t very loud, and it only lasted a couple hours a day. The rental is made up of two apartments combined. We wonder why the landlords don’t rent the property as two apartments, one without a kitchen.
Cons: The gas stove goes out when you turn it down to simmer. So somebody needs to clean/service this, because it’s a fire hazard. The shower sprayer holder is floppy and loose, and will definitely need to be serviced soon, although it works OK now. Good or bad, the room with the single bed, and the big desk seems to be the smokers room due to the layout of the apartment and cross ventilation. So expect this room to smell of cigarettes. (It’s Italy after all)
