Be Mate Castel Sant'Angelo

A beautiful property in the heart of Rome.

Pros: The property was really well located. It is a 10 minute walk to the Vatican & 20 minutes to the Pantheon. The communication from the hosts throughout was exceptional. We were a party of 9 adults and so had 2 apartments. They were equally beautiful. So tastefully decorated and with all modern appliances in bright spacious living areas. The bedrooms were beautiful, very spacious and with lots of storage. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. There is a luggage storage company located just a 2 minute walk from the property which we used upon check out and found it very convenient. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and would most certainly rebook a stay if visiting Rome in the future.

Cons: There wasn't always hot water for showers and in Apt 9 and in Apt 5B the water in showers was always cold. I felt €20 per hour for an early check in was very expensive and have never had to make such a payment while travelling.

Pros: Fabulous position - in a lovely area close to all sites, with lovely restaurants nearby. The apartment was beautifully decorated with large rooms - would definitely stay again!

Luxury apartment in the middle of Rome worth returning to everyday!

Pros: The Be Mate Castel Sant'Angelo is a beautifully decorated, large apartment perfect for a family or friends trip. You feel as if you are living in your own apartment in Rome! The apartment boasts three exceptionally sized bedrooms equipped with ample closet/storage space, two updated large washrooms, a full kitchen (with washer/dryer combo) and a full sized dining room. The apartment is located in the middle of all of the must-see sites in Rome and easily accessible to catching Ubers on the main street, if required. The staff was present and welcoming at check-in and thoroughly toured us through the apartment. Throughout our stay, the staff was in touch with us through Whatsapp checking in to ensure we were enjoying our stay and offering assistance if needed. I cannot rave enough about this apartment's comfort and beauty. I have already booked the two bedroom for my next visit in the summer!

Cons: Although there were some reviews I read about the lack of hot water, our host advised us that leaving time in between showers will allow for the tank to refill would resolve the issue...this was not an issue for our group of four adults.

Stylish Apartment

Pros: Very spacious and stylish apartment in a convenient and quiet location.

Cons: The smell. I suspect it is typical of old plumbing and old buildings as have experie6it before in Paris. Staff quick to address but was still present after drain cleaning.

Would definitely stay again

Pros: Amazing modern and updated design. Huge space. Very comfortable. Highly recommended stay. Staff responsive on WhatsApp

Cons: Showers not very strong but still acceptable

Couldn’t find better accommodation in Rome! Ticked all the boxes

Pros: This apartment was amazing! We were coming from a wedding outside of Rome and needed some quietness, comfort and luxuries. We also explored the city after a good night sleep. The location and security of the apartment was everything we wanted. The hosts were in contact and so caring about our stay. When I go back Rome, I would definitely book this apartment again. It was just pure luxury!!

Pros: The apartment is gorgeous, located write near the center. George and Estefany did their best to please us. We are so grateful to them. I strongly recommend this new, beautiful apartment to anyone who appreciates beautiful new designer interior!

Pros: The appartment is pretty big and a great option for family groups. Close to several main attractions by walking. The elevator was important for us as my mom has problems to use stairs. Having the elevator was good for us. The staff was quick to reply and friendly. Thanks for everything
