Pleasant experience

Pros: It is not classic hotel more apartment hotel. Combination of modern and classic design. All hotel staff is great and very helpful (the true value :-) Location is good and they let me park by the hotel.

Cons: There is no regular hotel breakfast, they bring you some pastries and then you have to manage by yourself. Kitchen table and night cabinets are too small (no place for things).

Charming, in the heart of the ancient city

Pros: Lovely renovated building from the 16th century, tastefully done. Fantastic location, a walk to everywhere, especially if your interest is in historic sites. The team are fantastic, attentive and always asking for feedback. Special thanks to Claudia and Giorgio

Cons: Small thing, just because it’s an old building, it can develop a “smell” when the windows are shut, maybe air fresheners can be helpful.

Very stylish hotel, fantastic staff and good location

Pros: It had a good location, the bed was really comfortable and it wax a really stylish hotel room with centrally controlled lighting and the temperature control actually worked. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we couldn’t speak highly enough of them. Also being able to have a self-prepared breakfast in the room was useful.

Cons: There is a quite a lot of style over substance. Although there were other little shortcomings, the two main things were 1. The smart tv was in the kitchen where you had to sit on a bar stool to watch it - there was no tv in the bedroom, just a blank wall. 2. The bathroom was very smart and the shower was in the bath, as with a lot of hotels, but it was not anti-slip and no mat was provided. Also, the bar prices on the rooftop bar were very high - €50 for two gin and tonics, no wonder we were the only ones there!!

A great base to explore all Rome has to offer, ancient, modern and the bits in between

Pros: Great location perfectly placed for both the ancient city and the main facilities within the capital. The reason behind the name is so Roman.....ask when you check in it is a fascinating story. The Staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, shout out to Alessandra who was an exemplar of what great staff should be. Absolutely loved the brutalist style the building and each of the suites/apartments

Cons: The restaurant is managed by a separate company and not part of the hotel. This means that there is often a disconnect between when it is open. During our four day stay there were two occasions when we could not get into it, fully understand the business model but maybe a little comms with guests should be considered.

Memorable stay at a special place!

Pros: Loved the customer service here! In particular, a huge thank you to Giorgio and Alessandra. They were both so helpful and attentive to our requests. We also enjoyed having breakfasts in our room every morning with a full-service kitchen and fresh daily bread. A great (and stress-free) way to start our day.

We saw Rome through a different lense.

Pros: Absolutely everything! Thoughtfully curated with minimalist design

Cons: AC in our room sounded a bit loud for our preference

Gorgeous, design-driven space for art lovers looking for something different than traditional hotels

Pros: Great room (double suite) and gorgeous view of Rome outside. Very modern interior design so that has to be your vibe of course. Also minimalistic reception/lounge space so if you're looking for a 'traditional' hotel space, this probably isn't for you.

Cons: Roadworks outside - not the hotel's fault of course- impacted part of the view as well as the logistic (access road closed, hard to explain to taxis how to get to the door etc). Generally speaking the hotel is very central but with a not ideal logistic (crowded road in front, small access road as mentioned).

A fabulous and unique hotel

Pros: It is unique - a Jean Nouvel building for the Fendi art foundation. The rooms are really apartments, so spacious and well equipped. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The rooftop bar & restaurant are lovely. The location is very good, close to the forum but away from the crowds.

Cons: The design of the apartments is great but sometimes things are a little tricky eg hot water tap.
