Aurelia Vatican Apartments

Good location

Pros: Very close to the Vatican City. Have parking outside

Cons: There is a poor communication with hosts requested a downstairs apartment, but they did not reply.

Pros: Giada was so lovely! We got a very warm welcome and loads of good advice. Apartment was very clean, warm and spacious. Definitely my favourite thing about Aurelia Apartments was Giada!

Cons: Nothing.

Nice rooms/staff

Pros: The woman on reception was lovely as so helpful in helping with places to go and see. The room was nice and clean.

Cons: The location didn't really work for us. There is a bus directly outside, but it was just so unreliable during our stay (no fault of the hotel of course). The trains are better but they're 15/20 minute walk. We ended up getting a lot of taxis

Pros: We had a great stay. We were greeted by very friendly staff who answered all our questions and gave us advice on sightseeing in the city. The room was equipped with everything we needed. The fact that we were only a 15-minute walk to the Vatican was also welcome. There is also a shopping center, bus stop and metro nearby. We parked our car for free next to the hotel. I recommend it to everyone.

Good value, close to the centre, clean and modern

Pros: Spacious clean room, modern bathroom, terrace with the view on the park, good value

Cons: The location although close to the centre has nothing on the doorstep

Pros: The apartment and room were brilliant, the shower was excellent too, the hotel was quiet and were cleaned daily whilst we were there! The staff were so helpful and gave you a map with locations circled, transport links and loads of helpful additional info when you check in

Cons: The location was ok, it was a 10/15 mins walk from the metro but the apartment made up for that, there is a bus stop right outside the apartment which we didn't use as there was a strike on but i think this would have made a big difference if it was running

Pros: The room and bathroom really nice, bed comfortable, excellent wifi. Nice to have a kitchenette in the room, helps when traveling with kids. Location is close enough to the nearest metro, but you'll do better arriving in a car

Cons: Missed having a bar close by/downstairs, there were only vending machines

Pros: An exceptional receptionist which took time to explain us which locations in Rome to visit when where and how best. Superb!

Perfect place to visit Roma by public transport

Pros: Very close to public transport to the city. Free parking on the property. Our apartment was very new and every day fresh towels. After check out someone even brought the forgotten glases to our car just while leaving

Cons: Don’t expect good restaurants close however there is one about 500m away

Pros: Beautifully clean and comfortable. Lovely balcony looking over courtyard. Receptionist was very welcoming, helpful and informative.

Cons: Difficult to find the way onto the bridge where you can walk to Vatican City. But once on the bridge a easy 20 minute walk.
