Hotel Amalfi

A lovely small hotel in a great location.

Pros: The hotel location is good, just a 10 min walk to Termini but you can also walk into the main centre and visit the Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain, for instance in less than 30 minutes. There are also buses & a taxi rank next to Santa Maria Maggiore close by. There is a great selection on offer for breakfast each morning, with unlimited coffee, fruit juices, continental and eggs/bacon on offer with various pastries.

Cons: On the whole, everything was good. On this occasion, I had a single room which was a little on the small side but perfectly adequate and very clean. I was located near the reception, so at times when there were conversations, the sound did travel. But it didn't spoil my stay.

Lovely stay with friendly staff, clean comfy accommodation and beautiful breakfast

Pros: I loved the roof top terrace which is a great addition and lovely for a relaxing drink. The rooms were clean and comfy. We were at the back so it was quiet.

Everything was perfect

Pros: Excellent breakfast, room clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful particularly with regards to my husband needing gluten free breakfast

Very good value for money

Pros: Nice place with very friendly staff. Good breakfast, also with good glutenfree possibilities!

Cons: The 1 person rooms have no outside view, so it has everything you need but it feels a bit locked in.

Pros: The location was great, just outside of Basilica Maria Maggiore and 10 minutes walk from Termini station. Renaissance wall and ceiling decorations are a huge plus giving a special taste to our stay, just marvelous. The staff and breakfast were also top notch!

Cons: Just like almost anything in Rome space is tight. If you want extra space go for the bigger rooms even if you are not expecting to use all beds.

Pros: I found my stay at the hotel excellent. I chose this property primarily for its location, close to Termini Station and the metro station (a short walk of less than 10 minutes). The cleanliness of the property, the wide selection of breakfast options, the helpful staff, the smiling owner and the ornate ceilings deserve high praise. Some may find the elevator too cramped, but in the end I fully recommend this hotel to stay in Eternal City.

Cosy hotel with good location

Pros: Great location. Cosy compact room - everything you need for a short stay. Seemed secure.

Cons: Heating was on a timer. Got soaked and could not get warm

Roma Days

Pros: The most amazing hotel, like a museum itself with fantastic art pieces Across from Santa Maria Maggiore. Walking distance to Roma Termini and other attractions. But we used uber as it rained every day we were there. Breakfast was wonderful with a huge selection. The chef Jon is a darling. Friendly staff and owner. Allowed us extended check out. Lovely patio in family room.

Cons: No hot water first night. We were hoping would be normal next day. However still the same. Hotel resolved immediately once informed and we were sorted. No toilet roll paper, had a tissue dispenser thing, which we didn't like. 2 bottles water free only on first night... Small rooms and bathroom.

Great

Pros: Nice location, great view from the window, gorgeous frescos in the room, friendly staff
