The Major Hotel

Modern rooms, helpful staff, good location

Pros: Lovely modern rooms with nice furnishings. Breakfast was good, a little bit of hot food to go with the usual continental which was great. Rooms have a bidet and good showers with nice pressure and heat. Windows effective at keeping noise out, very quiet. Location was good, only a few minutes easy walk from Rome Termini. Metro only a block away. We had an issue getting home so we needed another night here at the last minute and the staff were so good. We had to move rooms because they were pretty booked but they made sure to clean our new room first up in the morning so we could move directly to it from our old room without having to wait and they come up and helped us move our stuff.

Cons: Elevator is really slow but there aren’t many stories, so the stairs are a reasonable option. Toast machine in the dining room is really loud and squeaky which disturbs breakfast a little but nothing too bad.

Trendy comfortable hotel in a great location with an amazing rooftop bar.

Pros: Great location close to train station (easy to get bus/train from airport to there) and not too far to walk to main locations, also fairly close to the metro. Lovely hotel with fantastic views and friendly helpful staff. The room was excellent, comfy beds and well equipped with everything you could want. The rooftop bar and restaurant were great too. The view from the rooftop bar was spectacular. I had read reviews prior to going the around the train station wasn’t the safest area however, we felt very safe and were at a walkable distance but not too close.

Cons: The restaurant Massa was not what we fancied as we wanted Italian food being in Rome, not Mediterranean -fusion. However, if it is what you fancied then it looked very tasty if not a little expensive and the views and atmosphere up there were really nice. Think any hotel in Rome would be the same but you do hear emergency sirens constantly so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Great hotel for a few days to see Rome

Pros: Great location and very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Stayed for 4 nights and it worked well. Air con worked properly.

Cons: Rooms are a little on the small side but not a major issue.

A very comfy, convenient hotel close to Termini train station.

Pros: The Major Hotel is very well located, being near Termini train station (about 5mins walk). The room had a large super-comfy bed and the bathroom was very spacious. The breakfast at the hotel had a really good choice of hot and cold dishes. We would certainly recommenfd this hotel for a stay in Rome. Most of the major attractions are walkable from the hotel which was a real bonus.

Pros: It was in an excellent location next to Saint Mary Major and had lots of transport options nearby. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

Great hotel

Pros: Good location, lovely room, great rooftop restaurant.

Cons: It rained in Rome and there wasn't anywhere in the room to hang out wet jackets.

Awesome rooftop restaurant and bar

Pros: We had a fantastic one night stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant and I would highly recommend trying the rooftop bar & restaurant. The food was amazing and there is a great view. The room was clean and spacious for Rome hotels. We will definitely stay here again.

Fun filled and relaxing all in one

Pros: It was an amazing location with very helpful staff and the lobby smelt amazing.

Great location to explore Rome!

Pros: Very good location. Good location to explore the city. Easy to walk around and enough options for restaurants near by. Also, rooftop area has great ambiance to chill after a long day under the sun.
