Central Lodge Hotel

A good place to stay

Pros: Friendly staff, helps us storing our luggages before and after the stay. It's well located, with a good room and bathroom. I recommend it.

Cons: Breakfast is simple for the price.

Good value & service near to the heart of Rome.

Pros: Friendly staff, good sized clean rooms & ensuite. Not on a Main Street so relatively quiet. Lovely square nearby for morning expresso. Good access to Colosseum & centre of Rome.

Cons: Just the mix up in the room we had cancelled through Booking.com, which will hopefully be resolved. Should have just contacted the hotel directly.

The hotel standards are good, the room size excellent. The bathroom was outstanding. Good location.

Pros: Was a good location for access to metro and Termini for buses(local and airport). The room was very good size and the bathroom was excellent. Some good places to eat locally as well as coffee shops. Nice to have a jug of cold water given in the evening from the bar for the room.

Cons: Arranged a taxi to pick up from airport to hotel through the hotel on arrival. The cost was 70 €. They were 40 mins late to pick us up after 3 phone calls to the contract number. Then the driver also looked for a tip! Cost of a taxi from airport would only have been 55€ . ( outside control of hotel) Although hot water available from a dispensing machine in breakfast area (7am- 11pm) to make tea it would have been better to have tea/ coffee facilities in the room. We also had to plug the fridge in as initially thought it was not working until we found plug and socket behind fridge. There are about ten steps to the reception area and no lift for bedrooms on upper floors(advice for those with restricted mobility). Hotel did help with advance request to get room on reception level floor .

Pros: Amazing location, amazing staff - nice and super helpful, spacious room, great mattress

Cons: There is no elevator only stairs, need to go to lobby for water and tea

Pros: Super clean, big rooms, fast WiFi, very friendly staff. Accepted my Late check in without any problems.

Cons: Mattress it’s very hard, not ideal for everyone. Sound isolation from the street and the corridor is not the best

Pros: Exceptional place, very good value for the money. Hotel is between Colloseo and Termini. Buses and metro station very close. Especially the line for Vatican City. Very clean, nice breakfast ( italian and continental). Coffe and water in any time. Very decent prices for drinks in the hotel. A lot of restaurants near hotel, Cleaning every day.

Pros: The cleanliness, location, and staff attentiveness were all excellent. They even left a bottle of champagne in our room for New Year's celebrations during our stay, which started on December 31st. It was very sweet.

Cons: Breakfast was not included in the room we booked. Despite this, we ordered extra breakfast on the first day. However, the breakfast was very, very meager. Yes, there were many options for jam and bowls, but the fact that there was only one type of cheese was particularly disappointing. To be honest, the coffee wasn't very good either. Maybe it just didn't suit our taste, but we didn't like it.

Pros: Very happy with the location and near to where we are visiting, near to train station

Cons: Nothing dislike

Ticked all boxes. Location a little out of the centre but with good restaurants this was not an issue. Would recommend

Pros: It was clean. Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly

Cons: Room too warm and street noise prevented me opening the windows.

Pros: Very nice staff, helpful and caring Great location close to subway and also 15min to colloseum; close to termini/railway station but far enough to be in nice surrounding. Nice italian restaurants nearby
