Overall, hotel was great! Very very kind staff, nice room and great breakfast!
Pros: Room was clean, also the bathroom. The design is modern and comfortable. The breakfast was great. Location and possibility of parking - great!
Cons: There were 2 things in our room, small things, that we kindly informed reception about. The light next to my bed wasn’t working and the bathroom doors made noise. 2 small things, that are easy to fix. The thing that bothered us was that outside hotel, the area was not as clean as it could be - people are smoking outside and they could clean that area - the entrance is the first impression! Also, i would expect coffee machine and tea supplies at the room in a 4 star hotel.

Pleaseant hotel in nice suburb
Pros: The hotel offered more than we expected. It is situated in good and safe suburub. Many restaurants and coffe bar around. Good conection by bus to city, but for walking is around 30 minutes to Coloseum. Brekfeast is excelent and staff who is there are professional and kind. Private praking is in the private yard of hotel, a bit crowded but hotel organize it well /25 eur per day/. Clean.
Cons: In the room there are no kettle, tissues and of course there is only Italian speaking chanels.

Cons: Charging for the baby cot. Non of the other hotels in Italy have charged for the baby cot.

Decent stay
Pros: The hotel was very clean and comfortable, with everything well maintained. The breakfast was good, offering several options, and the staff were always kind and helpful, which made our stay pleasant and easy. Overall, the atmosphere was nice and the service felt professional.
Cons: For a 4-star hotel, I expected a bit more. The location is quite far from the historic center of Rome, and the nearest metro station requires a long walk (no super long, but still). It’s a decent option if you don’t mind the distance, but I wouldn’t really consider it a full 4-star experience.

Had a good stay overall
Pros: Location was great as there are transport options, restaurants and a supermarket located nearby. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and as expected. Whatever additional things I needed, iron for example, the reception provided.
Cons: Breakfast for me was a bit of a let down. If you're not a fan of sausage, bacon and eggs everyday, then the hot options are limited. (I'm mildly allergic to eggs) Lots of sweet/cold options so if that's your go-to breakfast then you won't have a problem. I ended up just getting some items at the nearby supermarket and had a hot cup of tea in the breakfast room.

Highly recommend this hotel!
Pros: We moved to this hotel after a terrible first night at a different place. From the moment we arrived at Hotel San Giovanni we were warmly welcomed by the reception team. All of the staff couldnt have been more helpful or friendly for the entire stay. The room was immaculately clean with housekeeping maintained everyday including fresh towels and bedding. The breakfast service had a lovely varied selection and the staff were accommodating and attentive to all guests. Being located in a residential area made nights more quiet and restful, but you are only a short walking distance to the colusseum and city centre. The next time we return to Rome we will definitely be staying here again.
Cons: We have no negatives about the hotel.
