I Petali Guest House

Pros: Nice clean, large size room, good enough for 3 people. Excellent for short breaks in Rome. 10 min walk to the underground station. 👍 Good coffee ☕️

Cons: Breakfast could be bigger as Muesli and Chocolate Croissant wasn't anought for my family. However, maybe it is good for somebody else.

Pros: Very clean with comfortable twin beds. Simple breakfast provided that gave us ample energy for the morning. Charming view of the bright neighboring building which catches the sunlight in the morning. Close to bus stations to take us to the major Roman tourist attractions.

Price for value, but to get there you need a good 15 minute walk to get to metro

Large & comfortable room

Pros: Great large room, very clean. Also bathroom clean and kitchen clean which contained all necessary things... Coffee machine, gas cooker, microwave.... Plates.... Fridge.... Etc etc. Great breakfast and great host. It was a bit far from train station, ... Because I had to walk but if you have the chance to use transport, it's worth choosing it.

Pros: The house itself and all the rooms are decorated very nicely, making for a comfortable stay. The staff were calm and easy to understand, making sure to show us everything we would need. The location is a little far from the main attractions of the city, but that means the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. It also isn't too far from metro and bus stops so it is easy to get around. The breakfast is fairly limited, but self serve and good for a quick start to the day. There is also a nice park very close to the building. We only stayed one night but we're very comfortable.

Pros: Appreciated that there was breakfast provided! This was a huge time and money saver. While not fancy, it was certainly filling and generous. The place was also well kept and clean with daily housekeeping by a dear old Bolivian gentleman.

I recommend this location if you’re staying in Rome. Looks more like a hostel, but it’s clean and comfy.

Pros: It was clean and spacious room. The kitchen is sheared but is well equipped and the host offers milk, coffee, tea, juice, cake, etc for breakfast. There is a fridge in the kitchen and each room has some personal shelf to use. Very close to Tuscolana train station (600 meters) , 40 minutes walk to Colosseum and 1 km of subway station.

Cons: The fact that the bath was outside of the room.

Good value for money

Pros: It was nice and clean with a bit of breakfast options available all day.

Cons: The guest house structure is not that good. You can hear each other guests that are staying in other rooms, I would say that this is kind a level up from a hostel room but 10-20% under the hotel prices. There is a common bathroom/shower used by one - three other room guests and it’s always noisy. There is a private bathroom option that I went for and was looking great. There were other guests that were noisy and there was nothing that I could do about it. The check in process was a bit strange. The person managing from the booking side was not there so a “neighbour/ friend” had to present us the rental. The stay can be good but depends on the other guests staying. Good luck.

Pros: The apartment was very clean with excellent air conditioning which was needed in late July! We enjoyed our brief stay. The room was comfortable with a large bed. There is an excellent restaurant at the end of the road. Would recommend.

Pros: I stayed with my friend but it was like a honeymoon room. All facilities were good, definitely I recommended.
