Torripa Group - Trastevere

Charming accommodation in the heart of Trastevere, excellent location!

Pros: The location was excellent. We were right in the heart of Trastevere and it was incredibly easy to get around! Gabriele was our host and really made our trip! He was communicative, accommodated us with an earlier check in, and gave us a place to leave our bags. He was incredibly prompt to reply to us and was happy to work with a large group all arriving at different times and leaving at different times too. We rented out the entire place. It was spacious, clean, and exactly what we were looking for.

Cons: The WiFi was a bit slow in some of the rooms

Perfect location for all of our break and Gabriele was a fantastic host.

Pros: Fantastic location to access all of Rome’s attractions with plenty of local bars and restaurants.

Cosy and super convenient property with only 3 suites. A winner!

Pros: Excellent location in the heart of hip Trasvetere. 50m from bus stop get-off to other parts of city. Quiet in the room and my personal terrace!

Cons: The shower cubicle was very small and shower head didnt work well. Also there was a slightly unpleasant smell. The terrace was a little bare of greenery and decoration but the view is so lovely. Spent a lot of time here in the morning with my coffee and cigarette.

Great apartment in the heart of Trastevere

Pros: Great place to stay in Trastevere. Clean apartment, comfortable and great value for money. The host was super friendly and helpful.

Cons: The downside is the 3rd floor so you have to carry the luggage and the bathroom in our apartment was on the upper floor of the room so a bit annoying to go up every time but it is okay for short stay.

Great location, great host Gabriele, great place to stay.

Pros: Everything except 3 flights of stairs. Worth the effort though.

Pros: Very great location - you can just walk around the city by foot (we've reached Vatican City within 40 min. with 5 year old). The area itself felt safe even in late evenings and there are many great places to eat. The host - Gabriele was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Very nice room, spacious and clean. The location was good, loads of nice restaurants, 2 supermarkets within the 2min walk, washing places, bus stop and shops.

We stayed two nights. The owner was lovely and helped us up to our room with our luggage. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: Very clean. Beautiful layout and colour scheme and design. Kitchen was extremely well equipped. Bathroom very clean. Bedrooms were super comfortable.

Pros: We had a great stay at Torripa. Location couldn’t be better! It was clean and cosy. There was an issue with plug sockets next to the bed which were not fully working so we had to choose between light and charging. Also communication at the end did not go well, guys who manage the property agreed with us to leave the luggage but didn’t show up, so we left our luggages in a paid locker box nearby. Otherwise we had a comfortable stay.

Cons: Communication for check out and leave the luggage was not great

Rome is amazing! Location was perfect to walk to all attractions!

Pros: The location was fantastic! Lots of bars and restaurants near by all that were reasonably priced. We tried to eat on our side of the river. As soon as you go over the river nearer the main Rome attractions prices go up. Nice cafe at the bottom of the accommodation and just up the road which is good for breakfast and an espresso. The staff were there to meet us on arrival and although the room wasn’t quite ready they were happy for us to leave our bags in the room so we could head off and explore. The room was clean however we didn’t spend a lot of time there as there was so much to do in Rome.

Cons: The building was misleading when you arrived. It looks run down and it is easy to miss. The shower did not drain properly and as silly as it sounds the ceiling in the bathroom and bedroom were very low my partner banged his head a few times. But all in all it was a lovely experience
