Casa Sotgiu Guest House

Lovely guesthouse in a great part of town. Excellent staff, very helpful.

Pros: It was in a quieter part of Rome but very near the Metro line, which is very easy and cheap to use. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large. Staff were very helpful, both Cristina and Costanza.

Cons: The loud noise from upstairs bathroom when the toilet flushed was annoying.

A perfect, well-connected stay with great service.

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay here! The room and bathroom were both very spacious and clean. The location is excellent and well-connected to public transport. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient.

Very comfortable room in a quiet location

Pros: Very nice room with great hosts. Good breakfast, easy walk to the metro. Surprisingly for Rome we were able to sleep with the door to the balcony open and no external noise. Supermarket just around the corner, easy walk to plenty of restaurants in Flaminio and to Piazza del Popolo and the Borghese gardens.

Cons: The heating/cooling vent seemed to be constantly blowing, despite being turned off at our control. So we slept with the balcony door open.

Pros: Breakfast, Location, Staff, Quality of room - all excellent, really recommend this cosy and cute B&B

Home away from home! 🏡

Pros: Casa Sotgiu felt just like home! We had a very cozy stay and Cristina and the rest of the staff were amazing. This place was very close to many monumental places such as Vatican and Piazza del Popolo as well as close to a great shopping street. Rome was great, but coming home to Casa Sotgiu after the long days made it so much cozier. Thank you and I hope to be back soon! 😊 PS. Loved the art in our room Arturo!

Cons: Sometimes the breakfast area was full and we therefore had to wait a bit (like 5-10 min) for some people to be done. This is not a bad thing per se, but it’s good to take into account when planning your morning. The staff handled it very well and we did not mind the wait.😊

Pros: Great breakfast, cosy room, all amenities needed are in the room.

Pros: The staff was really friendly and nice, they gave us tips about the transportation and where to go; our room was ready when we arrived and didn't have to wait. The room was spacious, perfect for a couple. The breakfast was really good, with different variety of pastries each morning. As for the location, it was 20 minutes by foot from the Vatican and the Castel St. Angelo, 30 minutes by foot from Pantheon & Fontana Di Trevi. But there was Metro Station (Lepanto) and Bus Stations (Giulio Cesare/Lepanto or Giulio Cesare/Ezio) just a few meters away and you go everywhere you wanted. We preffered the bus as you could see the city.

Pros: Room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Very comfortable stay and the hosts were friendly.

Cons: The bedding wasn't warm enough, we were provided thicker blankets when we asked housekeeping the next day
