İt was really good to stay
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect. It was especially good that it was close to the bus stop to the airport. It was a safe and clean room.
Cons: Wifi was being cut off in the room

Pros: Perfectly located and quiet, comfortable room with private entry. Walking distance to the Vatican and literally opposite the Castel Sant'Angelo. It's also close to the metro and v v close to one of the airport bus stops. Friendly staff and nice bonus to have breakfast included. Really all you could need.
Cons: Could do with a light renovation, lots of little broken things (fixtures, fittings, edges of the surface of the laminate flooring worn away, loose toilet seat etc). It was clean, just all has seen better days.

Well worth it
Pros: Very safe and secure, brilliant location, exactly as described perfect room for the 2 of us for a few nights. Very clean and comfortable and staff were lovely.
Cons: WiFi was quite weak at the end of the hall (room 6) but wasn’t a huge problem as we didn’t use it much anyways.

Pros: Great location, very friendly staff, air con was fantastic!
Cons: Shower was super tight and there was a light below the stairs that you couldn't turn off so the room was lit up all night.

Pros: We've really enjoyed our stay at piccolo imperiale. The room was cleaned every day. We felt at home and even though it is not the most luxurious place (it's a guesthouse, not a hotel), we had everything we might need. The public transport is close as the bus stops right in front of the place and the metro is a 10 minute walk. As well as a drinkwaterfountain in the street so you only have to buy bottles once (or bring your own) and you can just refill them. Especially Christopher is an absolute gem, the takes care of the place and his guests as if we're staying in his personal home - which is partly true as he's been here for 6 years 6 days a week. Bless him and we'd definitely be back!
Cons: The only thing we would recommend to the owner is some more hangers in our room so have more space for clothes. :)
