Very good value and location, minor comfort and design notes

Pros: Perfect location, close to everything and very convenient for getting around. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any request. Communication was excellent before and during the stay. Great value for money — everything was exactly as expected. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again!

Cons: The mattress was a bit too soft for my personal preference, but this is subjective. The check-in process was slightly complex at first; however, it was solvable with the help of the clear video instructions sent by the host. The room itself is spacious, but the design is quite simple and does not fully reflect the overall value and charm of the B&B. Despite the building being historic, all electrical wiring and communication cables are visible on the walls rather than built in, which gives the room a somewhat unfinished appearance.

Pros: Our stay at Relais Cola di Rienzo was wonderful. The location is excellent — very convenient for walking around Rome and close to many attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Everything was well organized, and we felt very welcome. The staff was kind, attentive, and always ready to help. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this place again when we return to Rome . Aldo and Andrey , Thank you very much!!!

Pros: The room was spacious and at a great location to do sightseeing in Rome. Aldo was very responsive and helpful. Audrey was around during breakfast hours. She was very friendly and made you feel right at home.

wonderful B&B

Pros: Fresh and delicious breakfasts. The lovely lady who served delicious coffee took care of everyone and everything, offering help and advice. We were in constant contact with the owner, Aldo, from start to finish, when he booked us a taxi to the airport. We felt safe and secure. I recommend this place 100%.

A cozy, spotless, and perfectly located stay in Rome with friendly staff who make you feel at home

Pros: Amazing! I would stay with them every time I visit Rome. The place is cozy and comfortable, and the staff make it feel even more welcoming — they’re incredibly friendly and kind, making you feel like you’re at a friend’s home. Everything is spotless, and the breakfast, though simple, is absolutely delicious. I felt completely safe during my stay and truly enjoyed my time with them; they made my trip even more fun. Absolutely recommended! The location is also fantastic — plenty of great shops are just a short walk away, and many major tourist attractions are within walking distance. A perfect choice!

Pros: The breakfast was amazing with delicious homemade cakes :) supra-superior! Location is better for tourists. There are a lot of different beautiful places where you can get on foot.

Pros: Excellent host and staff who were attentive to our needs. Great recommendations on restaurants. Thank you Aldo, Audrey and the team for a lovely stay! The room was also very spacious and comfortable. Great location within walking distance to the Vatican City.

Cons: Lift was small so it was a bit of a hassle bringing up our luggage. But that’s like every other hotel or B&B we encounter in Europe. Otherwise, the B&B is excellent and I have no complaints.

Pros: I liked the location and how friendly was the stuff. The breakfast was really good. The bed was comfortable, the best after so much walking. I also liked that in order to enter the property you access a gate, then you walk up the stairs in a big apartment and then you access your room - it felt very safe.

Super comfortable stay in an excellent location.

Pros: Lovely b&b felt safe. Great location close to the vatican & trevi fountain. Lots of Lovely restaurants nearby. Walked to each attraction very easy. Lovely lady running the b&b made us coffee in the morning. Room cleaned to high standard. The room we had (family) was huge. Quite noisy at night being at front of the property & main road & bars. But b&b & building was generally quiet, great aircon & a little fridge. Comfortable accommodation would definitely return. Biscuits in jars & herbal teas left out. Brekkie was continental & pleasant.

Cons: Getting in and out of the shower was tricky as it was very narrow so not suitable for any issues with mobility.

Pros: We liked the location. The room was clean and quiet, nothing fancy but quite comfortable. Communication with the owner was smooth, and the ladies working there were very nice.

Cons: For breakfast, there was a broad selection of cereals and desserts, but very few veggies. And no hot meals at all. This wasn't mentioned in the reviews I read, so my expectations were higher. Scrambled eggs could be a nice addition.
