Excellent apartment and host is great - a pity the lift did not work

Pros: This property is in excellent location for getting to everything via short walks and it is also very quiet. Great choice of restaurants within 5 mins around the property. We would recommend this property.

Cons: If booking again I would definitely make sure the lift is working as this apartment is 4th floor and the stairs are very steep. So if you have elderly people or someone with mobility issues in your group this apartment would not be good.

Good value for money, I recommend it

Pros: My family and I had a really good time there. The apartment is very well placed, just 10 min walk from the Vatican and next to Castel San Angelo. There are supermarkets and good restaurants around. The place is big, so our party of five did not feel crammed. It is also well maintained and very clean. It was one of the best supplied apartments I have been into, and the communication with the host was seamless.

Cons: There is really nothing we can really complain about. The apartment is not new, but it very well maintained and clean. It would have been good to have a bin in the bathroom and some extra hooks. The small room has a led lighting above the bed, and there was this blue light that was still on pretty strong during the night, which I found very annoying. It may be a good night light for a child, but as an adult needing the dark, I did not appreciated it. I ended up put putting band aids to cover it to be able to sleep. Also, it would be good to have sun blocking curtains, at least in the small room, as the blinds do not block the entire light and you would be woke up by the first light.

Clean and very good for a small group

Pros: The location is really good, very quiet but only a 10-minute walk from the centre. It was very easy to contact the host and arrange to check-in on the day. The apartment is spacious and clean. The internet connection is very good too. Our stay was very good. The air conditioning worked well in the bedrooms.

Cons: The air conditioning is only in the bedrooms, so the rest of the apartment can be very warm.
