Apartment and host are great, but consider location based on your vacation habits.
Pros: Beautifully decorated and spacious apartment located on the street with all the restaurants and bars. Super convenient location. Walking distance (20 min) to Vatican City and fine dining.
Cons: It was hot when we stayed. No air conditioning, so we had to sleep with the windows open, which meant that the noise of all the parties on the street lasted until 2:30, then trash pick up started at 4:30. Made for difficult sleeping. If you are young and celebrate late on your holiday, this is a great place. If you have a family or are older, then the noise might be an issue.

An amazing piece of history in a great location.
Pros: Loved the historical quality of the place. The location is superb for exploring Rome. The host was charming and welcoming. Very good kitchen facilities.
Cons: The large bedroom needs a closet. Its bathroom could use an update. Do not bring heavy bags, as there are lots of stairs.

One of a kind property in the best location in Rome!
Pros: Such a unique and beautiful property in a fantastic location next to Piazza Navona in Rome. The apartment is a feast for the eyes, full of antiques, and lends itself to the historic character of the building. Super having a washer and dryer and A/C...things that make a stay much more convenient and comfortable. Regis, our host, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and even helped us with one of our suitcases up three flights of stairs. He also arranged a ride for us the morning of our departure to the airport. He went above what I was expecting as did the apartment. Fantastic eating establishments right outside the building and some very good spots a short walk away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rome with this wonderful apartment as our home base!!
Pros: We were a family of 4, kids ages 13 and 10. The location right next to Piazza Navona is perfect! Everything is within walking distance. The apartment is beautifully restored and decorated and the host is great! It is very spacious with two full bathroom/bedroom suites and full kitchen, dining and living rooms. Highly recommend!
