Farnese Charming Apartment

Great location, but 6 flights to climb to get to it.

Pros: Great location, walking distance to all major sites of Rome. Restaurants at your doorstep. Good aircon in all rooms.

Cons: Second bedroom had 2 singles beds which weren’t adequate width for adults which we booked for. Previous reviews noted 3 flights of steps, when in fact there were 6 flights of steps with no lift. This was a problem with our luggage and for one of our group with knee problems. Only one set of keys available which was a problem for 2 couples.

Pros: Aircon in the summer is a must, and it was amazing. Cold in every room of the place. The decor was unreal, so beautiful. Bathroom was roomy and comfortable, shower was great. And by far the best part was the location, markets located just below, many restaurants and shops nearby and so accessible to other cute local areas.

Cons: Everything was great.

Pros: Fantastic location. Excellent air conditioning - we were in Rome when the weather was hot (34-37 degrees C) and the apartment was cool and comfortable.

Cons: Only thing is it is up 3 flights of stairs - fine for us but not good if someone has mobility issues.

Pros: Appartement idéalement placé dans le cœur de Rome, très confortable, tout équipe et décoré avec goût.

Cons: Comme il est dans un quartier très centrale et très fréquenté, il y a du bruit en permanence y compris la nuit ! Pas d’ascenseur! Trois étages, avec des escaliers raides à grimper, avec les valises c’est compliqué et après une journée de marche dans Rome, c’est pas facile !

Pros: The location was perfect! Very central to everything we needed! Absolutely charming and homey apartment. Owner lives on the floor right above apartment if you need anything and is super sweet. It does have several stairs but it’s totally worth it! I can’t say enough good things about this apartment.

Cons: Nothing could have been better! We used the address around the corner for taxi pick ups since no one can drive down the street the door is located on.

Absolute perfection. What are the best places I’ve ever stayed and I’ve traveled a lot.

Pros: We loved everything about it. It will be my favorite place in Rome when I return. I can’t say enough about it. They even met us at one in the morning for the keys and although it’s on the third floor which is difficult, he carried all of our luggage up for us. This is not for someone that has mobility issues in any way, but if you can go up three flights of stairs, you will be astounded at how cozy this place is in the heart of Rome. You can walk to everything.
