House of the Sun in Trastevere

Bright, stylish & great location

Pros: The apartment is bright, clean, spacious and stylish and is in a quieter street is Trastevere. Bars and restaurants are close by and it’s easy to reach all parts of Rome from here. Marcello was a helpful and friendly host. I’d definitely return.

Cons: No negatives for me

Big room and good location

Pros: Very good location in trastevere - in a quieter side street away from the main boulevard. Close enough to the sights to walk there easily, yet far enough that you still have some peace. Place is extremely large for Rome and feels very spacious for 2 travellers. The owner marcello was also very helpful, and recommended multiple more local restaurants with excellent food.

Cons: Nil

Excellent and we fully intend on returning.

Pros: The location was great and the apartment was clean, bright and well appointed. Marcello the charming host met us on arrival and explained all of the features and facilities. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Pros: The apartment “House of the Sun” was fantastic. Great location, in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Rome. Very clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything a family might need (even rain umbrellas). The owner, Marcello, was very kind and responsive to all our requests. He even arranged a late check-out for us since our flight was in the evening. We will definitely come back!

A fabulous city to visit, made more special by staying in The Place in the Sun at Travestere.

Pros: Everything!! The apartment was in a perfect location for exploring Rome. It had everything we needed and more. Lots of extra touches like umbrellas, guide books and coffee pods for the machine. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Marcello met us in person to show us round the apartment and was so kind and helpful, wanting us to have a lovely time. He recommended restaurants and sent links for us to them and the supermarket. He was proud of his apartment and rightly so. I hope we come back to Rome and if so, would definitely want to stay here again. Perfect!

Pros: Location, washing machine, not having to take out the rubbish to external bins, safe&secure, being able to open the windows for the breeze, host & his helpfulness, space of the lounge room and bedroom.

Cons: Couch cushions tended to slide towards the ground when sat on & the front door was a little tricky to open.

Pros: Fabulous apartment – spacious, modern, and truly a home away from home with everything you need. Our host was wonderful, greeting us on arrival, showing us around, and sharing great local tips. Located on a quiet street but just minutes from restaurants and nightlife – perfect stay!

Don't waste your time looking for anything else. This is the perfect place to stay in Trastevere

Pros: The apartment was perfect and the location too. Within walking distance to the central areas, however far enough away to be out of the dense tourist regions, meaning this really felt like a local experience. The bed was super comfortable and the apartment so quiet. Our host was very accommodating, making suggestions to visit for local experience. Highly recommend.
