Be Mate Trastevere I

A great home base in Trastevere!

Pros: The rooms and living areas are really spacious. The bathrooms are modern with great water pressure. There’s a coffee machine inside the apartment and a fantastic coffee shop downstairs. The are has amazing restaurants.

Cons: Nothing.

Perfect location and apartment, would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Location was perfect, the apartment itself was also beautiful and really well laid-out with lots of space. Sabrina was available on whatsapp to answer any questions and she was incredibly helpful. I would happily stay there again when coming back to Rome and reccomend to anyone.

Perfect, charming place to stay in Rome

The apartment was exceptionally modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with luxurious fittings and all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent—just a short walk/ ride from great eateries and major attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the vibrant Trastevere area and beyond. Customer service was top-notch. The team was responsive, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. Special mention to the staff member who welcomed us and gave a thorough walkthrough of the apartment—his detailed instructions and friendly manner made settling in seamless. Overall, this is a beautifully maintained apartment that combines style, comfort, and convenience with exceptional guest service. We would highly recommend Be Mate Trastevere to anyone visiting Rome.

Pros: The property was so spacious and decorated tastefully. It was also peaceful at night. We really enjoyed staying here.

Cons: You are a little bit far from the main landmarks of Rome but close to wonderful restaurants.

A lovely place that feels like home in Rome.

Pros: The apartment decor is very modern and the service apartment is very well organized. The cooking essentials are very well equipped. The lightings are also very nice in the apartment. All the layout is very functional. The CS representative responds very efficiently and always very helpful. The location is fantastic, we can literally walk to many places.

Cons: I would say if the host can provide tea bag, salt & sugar in the apartment would be nice. We can do some light cooking in the kitchen. 2) The air- con has some light sound in my room and it is not as cool in my room. 3) The electronic lock is a bit challenging to open. Have to pratise a few time to open the door. 3) If the host can provide grocery shopping service with fee, it would be wonderful. 4) Also, please mention there is a cafe downstairs when you send message to client. As we arrived late at night, we are not aware of the coffee shop and didn't have breakfast that morning.

Excellent location for self catering and ease of access to city

Pros: Loved the location . Close to supermarket, trams and easy walk across the river to Rome attractions. The apartment was very large and every room had en-suite. The apartment was modern, renovated and had everything.

Cons: Sparse furniture as in a few more side tables in lounge and bedroom would be nice. Customer service was exceptional and helpful.

A lovely flat in lively Trastevere

Pros: This apartment in central Trastevere ticks all the boxes. It is spacious, comfortable, super clean, quiet & warm in winter. We are a family of 5 & as the three bedrooms each have their own bathroom, we could get moving quickly in the mornings. The kitchen has everything if you are mad enough to cook, plus a Nespresso machine & even an egg timer. But with the number of restaurants & cafes on your doorstep why would you bother. We liked the cafe next door for breakfast & the large bakery on the opposite corner. There is also a take away pizza joint that sells slices by weight 5 minutes away. The check in staff at Be Mate were super helpful & considerate.

Pros: Location is great, In the middle of Trastevere. Yet, it´s a very quiet apartment. It´s a modern and very new refurbished apartament.

Cons: The kitchen should have more appliances for cooking, such as pan, pots, cutlery, cutting boards, etc.
