Colosseum Luxury Apartment

Amazing view of the colosseum

Pros: The view was exceptional. The apartment was vast and had plenty of space for 3 of us to spread out.

Pros: The view was awesome. The building was wonderful. The host was very accommodating.

Cons: Although the apartment was generally clean, we found almost all the bedding was stained, the cutlery was old and uninviting to eat off. Some of the fixtures and fittings need attention due to age such as toilet seats, cupboard doors, uncomfortable sofas and sadly the 3 showers all contained mould. Non of these individual items caused problems with our stay but given the luxury price point the accumulation of these fell short of other luxury stays we have had.

Probably the most special place we’ve ever stayed.

Pros: Love the location overlooking the Colosseum, in the middle of great restaurants, a few steps from a supermarket, taxis, metro, trama etc. Problem was it was such a lovely apartment, with books and artworks we nearly didn’t want to go out! Perfect for New Year fireworks.

Pros: The hosts were so friendly and flexible on our meeting and check out time. They left a welcome basket of fruit. The building was secure with a lock to enter and another one at the apartment. We had 5 people and having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was great! There is a market less than 100 meters away and the restaurants nearby had food allergy information on their menu (which is a thing for us). The view of the Colosseum was amazing and unobstructed. It is close to the tram (in front of the building), bus (stop is across the street) and metro (on the other side of the Colosseum about a 5 min walk).

Cons: We were there over Easter so the area around the Colosseum was extra crowded and noisy. That's not the fault of the apartment but something you might consider depending on the time of year you visit. Also, the tram runs right in front of the building so it got a little noisy and you felt the vibrations. Neither of those things were significant enough to keep us up at night.

Pros: Ubytování bylo nádherné. Hostitel příjemný a kdykoliv k dispozici. Výhled přímo na Colosseum. V apartmánu bylo naprosto vše, co jsme potřebovali, dokonce i pračka se sušičkou. Vše čisté, krásné. MHD v těsné blízkosti, stejně tak obchod, pošta, lékárna a skvělé restaurace.

This apartment helped make our first trip to Rome a wonderful experience.

Pros: The apartment was an experience itself! The location and view of the Colosseum could not have been better and felt like such a splurge. We were able to easily walk or taxi (taxis lined up outside the front door!) to all the places we wanted to visit. We did not use the subway though there was a station nearby. The apartment itself was such a treat, with so much room for our family of 5 adults. The decor, especially all the books, just created a comfortable and cozy retreat. It was very clean and wifi worked well. There were lots of neighborhood restaurants to choose from, as well as a pharmacy and grocery story nearby. Communication with the host was very easy, and he responded very quickly to any inquiries.

Pros: There wasn’t anything not to like about this property. It is directly across from the Colosseum, restaurants, grocery store, banks and night clubs. Awesome location with all you need as a welcome gift from pasta and sauce to cook to all the comforts of home.

Cons: We loved everything. There was nothing we did not like.

We had a great stay. Would stay here again.

Pros: The location was fantastic for visiting the Colosseum and other ruins. It’s a fully furnished apartment with lots of antiques and books for decor.

Absolutely perfect.

Pros: Beautiful apartment. Felt like we were truly living in Rome. Wonderful hosts, close to restaurants, transportation and a small market. We would have stayed longer and would love to return. Highly recommend staying here.
