Indeed charming and central.

Pros: The house is very well restored and equipped. There is attention to detail, and niceties (like leaving a wine bottle) are always welcome. The location is great!

Cons: Entirely my fault -- I should have checked for AC -- there is none (like described). The host provided one simple and nice fan and another fantastic top-of-the-line fan but the heat was just too much.

Pros: The location is simply perfect: a short walk from the Vatican, but in a quiet and peaceful street. The apartment is meticulously maintained and equipped with every comfort, making our stay extremely pleasant.

Cons: Honestly, I did not find any significant flaws. If I really had to find something, maybe I would have appreciated a few more utensils in the kitchen, but overall the apartment is impeccable.
