Casa Gioia - Metro Garbatella

Definitely recommend it, an absolutely lovely place

Pros: The place feels very cozy and is located close to the metro station. In the kitchen is everything equipped you might need. We really loved the place and felt right at home, would definitely come back again!

Cons: We had to get used to the shower, because it took a little patience to get the water temperature right but it was okay

A fantastic apartment in Rome

Pros: We spent 2 nights here while visiting Rome briefly. We can't rate it highly enough! The location suited us perfectly, out of the hustle and bustle of Rome but a 5 minute walk to the metro. Cool neighborhood with some great bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed the local vibe. The apartment was beautiful, really well appointed and comfortable as well as spotlessly clean! We found free parking on the street right in front of the gate. Our host Gioia was super helpful and the communication was perfect.

Cons: Nothing that we didn't like.

Pros: Location in Garbatella was great, nice calm garden city part near the metro station.

Pros: Very nice appartement in a nice neighborhood, made me feel at home instantly. Very good equipped in terms of kitchen supplies and what you might need when you're staying in Rome for a long(er) period or when you prefer an appartment over a hotel/B&B. Good bed and pillows! Nice artwork and books. Gioia is available for any questions, very quick and helpful. Metro Garbatella and Carrefour Supermarket on 5 minutes walking distance. Busstop in front of the appartment. Good restaurants and bars nearby. I'll stay here again the next time I'm in Rome.

Fantastic property, very responsive host, would highly recommend!

Pros: The house is located in a convenient location close to the metro. The host is very responsive and attends to all your questions. The house has all amenities that you require and is exactly how it looks in the pictures. The entry to the property happens through an online link, had some trouble with it, but the host sorted it out. Would certainly be staying here again next time I'm in Rome.

Cons: Nothing really. The pillows were a bit hard for me, but swapped it with the cushion which worked!

Pros: The apartment is completely renovated, very clean, comfortable. The building is located in a quiet street, very close to the subway station of Garbatella and close to the railway station of Roma Ostiense Very comfortable bed.

Cons: The sofa was a bit soft (but that is not a major issue)

Pros: Casa Gioia might be the best holiday flat I’ve ever stayed in. I’m a Garbatella fan and this was an amazing choice. I used to live in Rome and now I return regularly. Casa Gioia is a 10-minute walk from the Garbatella stop on metro Line B, There are lots of supermarkets and restaurants around. If you want to cook, you’re all set in this kitchen. The bed is super-comfortable with lovely linens and the bedroom can be made totally dark. Absolutely everything I needed for a great stay was found in this homey and beautiful apartment. I liked the art but I understand that some people might find them off-putting.

Cons: These are absolutely not complaints; just things to be aware of: --If you're older like me, be careful getting into and out of the bathtub. Take care getting out especially, as the drop to the floor is quite far. Showering once you’re in the tub is very nice. --“Soundproofed rooms” is mentioned in the description. This means that the windows are good quality and when closed, block street noise. However, during the day you will hear normal noises inside the building like heels tapping on the floor above, and any activity in the stairwell: people talking, a dog barking or the lift going up and down.

I highly recommend!

Pros: Lovely host and were met at the door for key drop off, the apartment is lovely and feels homely and loved. It has everything you would need to cook and prepare your own meals if need be and close to train and metro.

Cons: I didn’t like to open the shutters as it opened onto the road. Perhaps some curtains to let some natural light in would be nice but otherwise was perfect. Oh and no toaster or salt and pepper

Pros: Super Comfortable, well located with stores and metro at a 5min walking distance.

Nice to experience Italian life away from busy tourist areas

Pros: Great location , so close to the metro & main tourist areas , cafes,supermarkets, pharmacy within walking distance. Spacious apartment .. nicely decorated & spotless.

Cons: No linen upon arrival , no kettle or hairdryer.
