Simply perfect!!!

Pros: First of all, I must say that the host is such a kind and wonderful person who immediately gives you positive energy. The second important point is the location of the apartment: it is right above the metro, facing the main road, and not hidden in any side street. As for the apartment itself, everything was perfect – the rooms were clean, tidy, and spacious. The bedding provided was fresh and new. What impressed us most was the thoughtful gesture of the host – a small bottle of Roman wine and some sweets as a welcome gift. For someone arriving after a long journey, nothing could be more delightful. I felt completely comfortable and safe, just like in my own home. On my next trip to Rome, I will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Cons: There is nothing negative I can say, as everything was just perfect.

Pros: My friends and I mostly liked the location and helpful and kind landlords. Situated in the Esquilino district, Casa Esquilina offers convenient access to many of Rome's iconic landmarks. Its proximity to the Manzoni Metro Station, making it easy to explore the city. The Colosseum and Roman Forum are within walking distance, approximately 15–18 minutes away. Additionally, the area has numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and cafes, enhancing the overall convenience for visitors. The thoughtful touches of hosts, including welcome gifts like wine and dessert, add to the homely atmosphere.

Cons: One bedroom was a little loud (facing the street) for our friends to sleep in however noise is manageable and does not significantly detract from the overall experience.

Comfortable and conveniently located flat for a short stay in Rome

Pros: The flat was very spacious and nicely furnished. The location was also great - 20-40 minutes walk from most of the tourist sights in the historical center of Rome. The keys handover and communication with the landlord were very easy and pleasant.

Cons: It’s not the fault of the property or the landlord but the side of the flat facing the Main Street was pretty loud. We could choose to sleep in the quieter bedroom which was great so it wasn’t a big deal in the end. Also there was an issue with the shower where it was draining really slowly. This is easily fixable and not a major issue.

Pros: We really liked the apartment, it has everything you need and even more. Cozy and clean. We were greeted very warmly, there was even a welcome gift of wine and dessert. Marco and Gianfranco are very responsive and welcoming. We definitely recommend it.

Pros: Casa Esquilina was the perfect base for our family trip to Rome! The host was incredibly responsive, always available to assist with any questions or requests, which made our stay hassle-free. The location is unbeatable – just a short walk from the Manzoni Metro Station and within walking distance to Historical Rome. We were able to explore iconic landmarks like the Colosseum and Roman Forum on foot, which added to the charm of our experience. The house itself was very clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, making it ideal for a family stay. The convenience of being close to both public transport and key attractions made this accommodation an excellent choice.

Great stay for a weekend in Rome

Pros: I'm very satisfied with the stay at Casa Esquilina. The contact with the apartment owner was great, they even contacted me afterwards when I lost my earring. The apartment is spacious and very clean. It has all the needed equipment and devices including an iron and a dishwasher. It was not a problem to get an extra set of linen and quilt, and leaving our luggage after the check-out. And the location in the close proximity to most Rome attractions and metro station - awesome!

Pros: - Great location, walking distance to main attractions and the metro. - Marco was very responsive and helpful. - The airport transfer was very smooth and the driver was very professional and on time. - the apartment was very clean and had useful amenities (ie vacuum and washing machine)

Cons: - Couldnt get a consistent temperature in the shower - was always too hot or cold which was difficult for the kids. Towels provided were very thin (similar to dish drying towels) - on a busy road so got noisy - no elevator so needed to bring all the luggage up the stairs
