It was a good experience. The staff was responsive to our question and need.

Pros: The apartment was big enough for 5 people and The location. It’s Close to metro and Colosseum.

Cons: Lots of mold in the bathroom

Pros: Very convenient location — close to shops and only about a 10-minute walk to the Colosseum. The metro and bus stop are just around the corner, and there’s a supermarket nearby if you prefer to make your own breakfast or lunch. Lots of cafés and restaurants are also within easy reach, and it’s not far from Termini Station.

Granny’s House was excellent! The location and facilities were excellent and we would love to stay again!

Pros: The property’s location was excellent with an easy walk to many attractions, a close by supermarket, and train to get get elsewhere. There were many cafes and restaurants nearby so you always had options for meals. It felt really safe with a police station on the same street on the next block. The property had plenty of facilities making it an easy place to stay with a family. Communication with the owner was excellent and he was very helpful.

Cons: The property is on the 4th floor and is a bit of a walk up the stairs. There is a lift, but it is tiny and really only fits two people comfortably.

Pros: We had a wonderful time at the apartment! Our host was incredibly kind and helpful with everything we needed. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. We will definitely come back again

Pros: The location. Close to everything including Metro. Accommodated 4 adults and 3 children in comfort. Very spacious with lovely outdoor verandah

Easy, convenient and more than pleasant stay, would recommend

Pros: Great host (really friendly and helpful), great location (15 minute walk from Rome Termini and 15 minute walk to the colosseum) there is mini marts and lots of restaurants close by, would highly recommend

Granny's House Colosseum in Rome - January 2025

Pros: The host was l8vely and was very responsive on What's app. We met up with them at the start of the stay. They provided a toaster and clothes drying rack promptly upon request.

Cons: Having to pay for the accommodation with cash, and the hefty city tax, which was asked for in cash as well. The cash withdrawal rate meant that we payed a lot more for this accommodation then if we had paid upon reservation directly via Booking.com. There is also the question of insurance: should anything happens during your stay, you want to have paid digitally via Booking.com....for insurance purposes.
