Great location and very clean

Pros: Perfect location for the Vatican and great location for whole of Rome. Very good breakfast. Very clean room. Very safe and secure.

Cons: Room was small but I knew that when booking.

Pros: Incredible location right at the St. Peter's square with easy access to all Vatican and Rome attractions. Rooms are very clean and breakfast very tasty with a lot of options to choose from.

Cons: The hotel clearly remebers old days. Our room was rather small but enough to sleep and rest. Not sure if someone with more than hand luggage would fit into it. Good for two/three nights.

This was our 4th time staying at Residenza Paolo VI and we look forward to returning again.

Pros: The location of the hotel is exceptional - especially if you are visiting St Peter's Square. There really is nowhere else we would choose to stay when visiting this part of Rome. The staff are very professional and polite. The breakfast is very good with plenty of choice and the restaurant staff very pleasant and attentive.

A hotel in touching distance of the Vatican

Pros: It is said that it's all about 'location, location, location' - well this hotel has it, right on the border with Vatican City and, without doubt, the most spectacular view you could ask for from a rooftop bar. The room was well appointed and pleasingly spacious, with a comfortable bed and fresh towels, mineral water and toiletries every day. Breakfast was perfect, with hot and cold options, including Italian meats and cheeses, and the staff were always helpful and charming.

Cons: I can't think of anything. This hotel more than met expectations.

Excellent three nights stay

Pros: The location is absolutely wonderful if you want to see Vatican. For breakfast everybody can find something very good.

Cons: The toilet seat in my room 205 was wobbly.

Good hotel and good value

Pros: Hotel location next to St Peters Square is excellent. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Food at the terrace was good and the waitress's wine recommendation was helpful. Almost no street noise through the night.

Cons: Our standard room was small but as expected for the reasonable price charged. Most of our time was spent outdoors sightseeing anyway so I certainly wouldn't list that as a complaint.
