Great B&B in Trastevere

Pros: Very charming and rustic property - just what we wanted. Great location right in the middle of Trastevere with all the restaurants. Tram and bus stops close by making it easy to get around. Staff at the property were very friendly and helpful and communication prior to our stay was great. The shared areas were well respected and breakfast pastries were great.

Cons: Steep steps not suitable for everyone, however not a problem for us. If staying at the front of the property can be noisy due to location.

Pros: The location was perfect, the host made check in very easy and advised on what bus to take from the airport.

Cons: The beds were twin beds pushed together so slightly uncomfortable, it's a shame that it wasn't a double

Pros: amazing location , close to all attractions, clean , make you feel like you are living in your home. Owner is so sweet lady , help for everything , anything and anytime.

Pros: The hosts were very receptive and easy to reach. A wonderful location in the heart of Trastevere.

Cons: As warned, the steps to the room are steep, maybe tricky if you have mobility issues.

Lovely apartment in the Trastevere

Pros: A charming, comfortable, thoughtfully set up apartment in the Trastevere. We had plenty of space to unpack our things, the bed was very comfortable, with a lovely warm eiderdown. Great shower with thick, cozy towels. Our apartment faced the courtyard and was absolutely quiet. We loved our stay in the Ventisei Scalini and would love to return!

Pros: Location is fantastic, very good restaurants around the neighborhood. The bed is very good. The breakfast is okay, nothing special.

Cons: Only downwards are the rooms are almost connected and you can hear a lot from the sharing kitchen.

Really cool place to stay.

Pros: Excellent location. Very, very clean. Great communication and very friendly. Loved the rooms with excellent Italian/Roman feel. Nice bit of simple breakfast food left in room which totally serves well for our needs. Really helps having an excellent cafe right outside the apartment. Loved the feel and ambiance of the area. Out of hours check in was very simple. Will definitely stay again.

Cons: Only one thing. We like a shower in the morning and in the evening but it doesn't appear as though the hot water recovers after the morning shower. One of the rooms has a sign saying the HW is limited. Which I kind of get as I guess the owner doesn't want people standing in a hot shower for hours! Don't forget this is a B&B not a hotel.

A wonderful, good value find. We would recommend.

Pros: Great location within walking distance of all of Rome’s attractions. For the evenings, there are lots of good restaurants within a 2 minute walk (and on almost on the doorstep!)

Cons: A little bit noisy overnight. Take your ear plugs!

Excellent stay in heart of Trastevere

Pros: Charming accommodation situated in an excellent location suitable for experiencing a different side to life in Rome. Excellent communication and lovely welcome.

Cons: The bed was a bit soft ( just personal preference). Also it can be a bit noisy with the restaurant below, and people walking past, but again it’s Rome and city life.
