Comfortable and convenient apartment close to sites and public transportation.

Pros: We were upgraded to the Savoy suite which was great as it has an additional bedroom & second bathroom. The apartment has all you may need, is close to important Roman highlights, restaurants and public transportation. The host is super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Cons: If anything, the only thing missing would be a couch / sofa on which to crash after a long day of sightseeing. But not a deal-breaker at all,and it would not benefit the lay-out of the apartment so it was no problem.

Loved the stay and would definitely stay again. Fabulous little place!

Pros: Loved the location, the host owner was so hospitable and helpful, had everything we needed for a great stay. We’d love to stay again!

Cons: Paying in cash can be tricky for travellers, just remember to have it ready!

Perfect Roman business & pleasure trip

Pros: In fact Salvatore - and there hardly can be any nicer and more available person (!) - upgraded us to the Prince suite. Metro station downstairs, my meeting place and lots of shopping & restaurants around the corner. For history lovers and religious people also everything near or reachable via metro. Spacious apartment, clean and everything worked. Made our stay fantastic.

Cons: Difficult to think … maybe more small towels for ladies … perhaps … if one really wishes to find beauty spots.

A very pleasant visit to Rome in November.

Pros: The Avalon is a lovely two bedroom apartment in a great location. We travelled as a family of four adults and the apartment accommodated us comfortably. There is a large supermarket near by and a bakery to buy fresh cakes etc. if you wish to dine in the apartment. There are also plenty of restaurants near by should you wish to dine out. All the main tourist sights are easily accessible from the apartment. Most importantly, Salvatore is a wonderful host. He arranged our taxi transfer to and from the airport and was there to meet us with the keys when we arrived. He looked after us extremely well, above and beyond what we would have expected. I would be happy to recommend The Avalon to any visitors wishing to see the sights of Rome.

Great hosts,great location, comfortable and working A/C

Pros: The people operating the property couldn’t have been more helpful, I’ve never stayed anywhere else where we got attention like we did, the guys were brilliant. It was central to all we needed, train station 8min walk, Metro 6 mins walk, Good restaurants and bakery’s in every direction, 15min walk to the colosseum and other attractions

Pros: Our booking was moved - without extra cost - to The Savoy, another apartment of the same owner. Everything was very good. Friendly and smooth communication with the owner.
