Great and generous host and super location. terrace is a great space to hang out.
Pros: Location Amazing. Our host Ottaviano was so generous with his time and could not have been more helpful. The terrace is great for morning coffee and a night cap when you get home after a day of walking around the city. Bedroom downstairs is large and comfortable. Bathroom is small and fictional. Again kitchen is small but has all you will need for your stay.
Cons: Lots of stairs but to be expected. We spent very little time in the retro main sitting room because it isn't a comfortable space that consisting of a Diming table that didn't encourage dining, a hard foldout couch surrounded by two single armchairs and random tables. Spent any home time on beautiful terrace

Pros: This apartment is an absolute value for money. The location is just perfect, you are in a super nice neighborhood in the center, lots of the bars and restaurants around, but the street itself is very quiet. The terrace is stunning. Huge and sunny with a view. Both beds had really good matras. Facilities are not new, but everything was very clean, so no trouble with that. No issues with water either and it was very warm in the apartment in Jan. apartment has its character, and I like it) We didn't use the kitchen much, but there were a lot of things there, so you can cook. Ottaviano was helping a lot with recommended places and special thanks for helping with luggage)

Dreamy: perfectly located and still peaceful
Pros: There is so much to like about this apartment! Great location, views of St. Peter's from the spacious terrace, quiet and tranquility in a very central location, and a gracious, lovely host who is happy to share his knowledge about Rome. I used to live in Italy, and the apartment felt so Italian to me in wonderful ways. We watched a lightning storm one night from the terrace, and it made for a memorable and beautiful moment that could really only have happened there (an apartment with a terrace that has a view). Ottaviano made great recommendations on places to have aperitivi, newly completed renovations of sights, offered to make reservations at some interesting spots, and was really kind and responsive.
Cons: The drawbacks are VERY clearly spelled out, so there were no surprises for us. It's a walk-up apartment. It's a comfortable and spacious apartment in a city, but yes, of course the kitchen is small. We weren't taken aback by any of this because everything was as portrayed, and we really appreciated that.
