Roman refuge with heaps of charm
Pros: It’s an old Roman apartment bang in the historic centre. The location couldn’t be better for walking to all the major attractions. I loved the old lift that just fitted 2 people. The apartment was warm (we went at the end of November). It can get a bit nippy at night in Rome, so it was good to have central heating. Alfredo also supplied extra blankets. The beds were comfortable as well. Alfredo supplied coffee and an espresso maker, the stove top variety so that made my mornings. Alfredo is extremely helpful, a bit like a concierge in a hotel. Giving travel and restaurant tips, and personal safety warnings. He warned us about a public transport strike before we set off so it didn’t catch us out. We felt very looked after.
Cons: The apartment is old, with original 50’s/60’s fittings so it’s not a luxury home. But it gives an authentic homely feel. If you want upmarket this is not for you. If you want vintage charm then this is your place. There’s nothing to complain about as it’s clean and warm with all the bits you need. Yes, the big bedroom is noisy from the street. But that’s the life of Rome. My friend enjoyed the nightly routine of restaurants, people and street cleaners. The back room though is very quiet.

Great apartment in fabulous location
Pros: Rome is amazing. The location is excellent. Minutes walking away from many of the main sites. Fabulous restaurant literally down stairs. Alfredo is very friendly and welcoming with lots of helpful tips. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.
Cons: My children slept well in the back bedroom but unfortunately it was noisy in the front bedroom .Having said this we all still enjoyed our time in Rome but with less sleep than ideal. I would still recommend coming here as overall it was epic.

Perfect!
Pros: The location was fabulous! The apartment’s simplicity was its charm. The apartment was clean and had everything needed. Alfredo was an absolutely amazing host. From the moment I booked he did everything humanly possible to make the most of our stay and make it as perfect as possible. He provided great information, he answered my endless questions, he greeted us at the apartment with an amazingly friendly smile and spent time showing us around and giving us lots more information. He was only ever a text away if we needed help. Alfredo is a thoroughly lovely human. I do not hesitate to recommend this little gem of a place and hope to visit again someday 😊
Cons: There was nothing to dislike

Great apartment
Pros: Alfredo is a wonderful host. He is a great communicator with lots of suggestions of places to visit, food to eat and how to enjoy Roma. The apartment was spotless and felt comfortable. It had many amenities to help make our stay lovely and easy. It's in a great location, close to restaurants and sites and also public transport. Alfredo made our stay so easy and accommodated our family and our timetable. I would definitely recommend staying at old corallo.
