Stylish Penthouse with terrace in Trastevere

Excellent place and reasonable given the size, quality, and location of the apartment.

Rooftop terrace dreams

Pros: This location was so much fun - surrounded by laneways of amazing cafes and restaurants, piazzas and really close to the river and bridge to cross into the centre tourist attractions. Very walkable for our young family. The apartment was much more modern and larger than we expected from the photos - the living space has a really lovely high ceiling, and the rooftop terrace was just beautiful, we had lots of dinners and brekkys up there as it was so lovely to look at the view of St Peter’s and listen to all the laneway partying and socialising below (we have kids so couldn’t join in all the night time fun). We really appreciated access to kitchen staples like salt, pepper, oil, vinegar etc.

Cons: The beds were made up with a sheet only, no bed covers. We found a couple of comforters in the cupboards but there were not enough for all the beds. It was relatively warm so not a huge deal but just not very cosy, a bit more like a hospital. The stairs are a pretty decent effort to get cases up, however worth it for the rooftop view (and our host kindly helped us carry the kids cases up). As mentioned in previous reviews weekend nights - especially Saturday night is very noisy with happy, socialising crowds in the laneways below - we actually loved this noise - total vibe and it didn’t disturb us however there are some incredibly noisy garbage trucks rumble up and down the lane for about an hour around 3am, and lots of clanging and smashing glass bottles as they are collected which was quite disruptive to those sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge. The shower in the bedroom sometimes has a very damp unpleasant smell so the bedroom needs to be aired.

Pros: Fantastic location, very cool spacious apartment with beautiful balcony and stunning terrace with views of St Peter’s basilica dome.

Brilliant stylish apartment in a cool area with great access to the city.

Pros: Beautiful flat, unique, stylish, very well equipped. The rooftop terrace with the view of the Vatican was the highlight for me. Apartment was bigger than appears on photos.

Cons: It’s in an old and historic building, so no elevator. It’s on the 4th floor and is only accessible by quite narrow and steep stairs, so if you have heavy bags, you might have trouble getting up there. It’s on a very lively party street, it feels like a party after 5pm, so if that makes you nervous, you might reconsider. You cannot call a taxi directly to the front of the apartment because most of the area is pedestrian, so you have to walk a block to the nearest load point, which can be difficult with suitcases because the streets are cobbled

Pros: Lovely apartment. Very comfortable, and in a great location. Wonderful to have outdoor space too.

Pros: Apartamento tipo loft con encantador balcón y espléndida terraza superior, muy bien equipado, limpio

Cons: Es un cuarto piso sin ascensor y cuesta enfrentarse a las escaleras.

Pros: El apartamento impecable y muy funcional. Además en pleno Trastevere, ubicación inmejorable.

Cons: Con Dos servicios WC sería absolutamente inmejorable.

Très bon séjour, légère déception du aux étages .

Pros: Bel emplacement, quartier très animé avec restaurants à proximité

Cons: Au 4eme étage sans ascenseur, accès difficile à un certain âge et avec des grosses valises . De plus si on dort dans le séjour assez bruyant.

Cons: mauvaise odeur dans la chambre, a priori venant de la douche ?

good location and great views

Pros: the terrace was wonderful. the apartment was spacious.

Cons: the room with the shower in it, a sewage smell came up the pipes. There were lots of cabinets but no place to put our suitcases.
