Easy access to the city from Colosseum neighbourhood

Pros: Lovely accommodation, light and airy, friendly hosts, great location very near the Colosseum and from there you can just wander into town. No living space but rooms are spacious and there's a TV in each room.

Cons: The door to my room did not close and the accoustics of the apartment meant that any noise made carried right through the flat. Not a huge deal, just bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Pros: Excellent apartment. The location was superb- a stones throw from the Colosseum. Lovely restaurants on your doorstep. Apartment had everything you needed and easy booking in and out. A left luggage close by

Cons: Paid double the tax that was advertised on booking.com

Very pleasant stay, clean and well located apartment.

Pros: Our friendly Host met us at the property and informed us about everything. Very helpful and considerate. The apartment is light with high ceilings and 2 spacious bedrooms. Crisp white linens and very clean. The kitchen has coffee, tea and a coffee maker, kettle, microwave, fridge etc. The building is a lovely historic one with high arches and cobbled stones in the courtyard leading up to the elevator which is very quaint. The location is a short walk from the Coliseum. Despite being close to the busy part of town at night it was not too noisy and fairly quiet after 9pm. Since there is a cleaning fee we did not have to worry about taking out rubbish when we were leaving which is an added convenience.

Cons: No complaints.

Well located nice apartment close to the Colosseum.

Pros: Really lovely well designed apartment a few minutes from the colosseum. Nice interiors. Probably a 15 min walk to the nearest metro station. Well connected by buses. Lots of pleasant eateries in walking distance. A helpful host!

Spacious apartment near Colosseum

Pros: Very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with calm decor and very clean. It had plenty of natural light with super comfortable beds, good storage & well lit. Communication was good. Close to the Colosseum.

Cons: NB light sleepers, it is very close to a road - traffic dies down overnight but can start as early as 5:30 am. The kitchen is very basic in terms of equipment and not really room for more than 2 people to sit so not really adequate for longer stays. The aircon units tend to leak onto the floor if the discharge pipe below is not correctly positioned - I used a piece of toilet paper to adjust it!

Incredible stay, will return when coming back to Rome!

Pros: Gallus Colosseo is a must if you’re travelling to Rome. The proximity to the Colosseum is insane, able to see it from the doorstep and only a short stroll away! We spent most nights at sunset here. The apartment is excellent and large for the location, with two large bedrooms both including an air conditioner.

Lovely apartment in a great location

Pros: The apartment was so clean and bright. The bedrooms were large and the beds so comfortable.

Brilliant Stay Near The Colosseum

Pros: Brilliant place to stay for a short trip to Rome, the apartment was very clean and the facilities there were to a great standard. The communication with the property manager was very efficient and she was extremely friendly and happy to help whenever I messaged or called her. The location of the property is ideal, a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum but far enough away not to hear the busy roads around the Colosseum. You can actually see the Colosseum from outside the building front door. It’s also close to the metro station which is an easy trip to other areas of Rome. The WiFi here is good and the shower is good too. The rooms are big and spacious with Google tvs in them and enough storage for clothes etc. Great stay and would certainly recommend staying here.

Cons: It was a great stay and would certainly recommend, the air con units I. The bedrooms have bowls to catch the water which means the air con can’t be left on over night, during August heat that was difficult to sleep in. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

Amazing location, with a wonderful private comfortable apartment.

Pros: The property is in an amazing location, with amazing proximity to the Colosseum. The Host was absolutely amazing, we had delayed flights and she went out of her way to work with us. The beds are super comfortable with plenty of room and air conditioning. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Lovely owner Laura was really great host, the place is warm, chick and very clean. Very near Coloseum but still in quite so you can rest . Two bedrooms with all you need, cosy, lovely❤️ Owner was very helpful and polite with all our aditional request for town, taxy…. For sure I will recimend this place for family, friends, who want to be close to town but away from crowd when needed. I will come again! Love the place and love Rome❤️
