Over The Tiber Loft

Pros: Perfect location, Vatican, Navona, Campo dei Fiori and Trastevere restaurants and bars in walking distance. Beautiful river view form appartment and stunning view from terrace. Welcoming owner. Equipped kitchen.

Cons: Traffic - busy street, but with earplugs no troubles with sleeping

Pros and cons like in real life

Pros: Artistically and cheerfully decorated. It was quite convenient to visit tourist sites from there. The kitchen was well equipped. Large scenic rooftop terrace. The owner was eager to assist with any problem. All in all a cheerful place.

Cons: Many steps up from street door to the top floor apartment - no problem for us, but could be annoying for others. The street in front of the house was quite busy. The furniture apart from the kitchen has seen better years. There were steps all over the place, especially leading up to the bed. Could be dangerous if you get up quickly at night.

A lovely little apartment for people without any mobility issues.

Pros: We loved having a kitchen to make some meals and to be able to use the laundry facilities. The location was convenient to walk to many sites and restaurants.

Cons: Lighting could be a bit better in living room and the overhead shower unit was lacking pressure but otherwise we were quite happy.

Pros: Beautiful unique place, designed by an Architect with lots of Architecture books around 😀 Beautiful view of the Tiber and a walking distance to Traverse Highly recommend if you dont mind stepping up to the bed!

Excellent place!

Pros: Location is superb, accessible to all tourist spots.

Cons: Beware, there is no lift to 3rd floor apartment.

As if we lived there.

Pros: This is very memorable and fun place to stay. We loved the compact and characterful apartment and the roof terrace was bliss on a Sunday afternoon watching the sunset.

Cons: To say we didn’t like the stairs would sound lazy as I actually enjoyed the stairs for exercise so as it goes the only moment I didn’t like them was carrying my bags up.

Fabulous week spent in Rome in a lovely apartment

Pros: This is a lovely apartment in a great location. The apartment is spacious with plenty of light coming in through French doors facing the river. It has a very well-equipped kitchen. The washing machine is handy for longer stays. The apartment is decorated very nicely and has plenty of storage space. The view is lovely - rain or shine. There is a superb traditional restaurant just 10 paces along the street.

Cons: The sleeping arrangements gave us the heebie-jeebies. The loft bed is very high and accessed by turning stairs. For an older couple (we are in our early sixties) it felt a bit precarious. Great care needs to be taken for night-time bathroom visits. Just a minor thing, but the clothes rack was inadequate. The apartment has several small steps inside (from kitchen to hall, from hall to bathroom etc) - you need to be aware of where your feet are, ie easy to stumble.

Pros: Fantastic location in Trastevere overlooking Tiber River. Fully self contained with washing machine and dishwasher. Great communication from host Chiara.

Pros: The best location! So central to everything. Trastevere has so much to offer and a quick trip over the river and you’re close to everything. Very comfortable bed- did not want to get up and great to be able to wash some clothes! Chiara, the host was amazing! Great communication and gave some fantastic recommendations!

A very good stay in Rome!

Pros: A nice apartment, with a beautiful view, in a very good location. The apartment is fully equipped and Kiara, the hostess, is very kind and helpful.
