Hotel Alessandrino

Pros: Room smells good and clean, hot water is not limited, lots of towels and with kettle, water bottles and coffee & cups. Also with shampoo and soap. As in complete not like the first 2 hotel we stayed.

Cons: Window side molds in the washroom. Toilet door broken lock. Elevator not big, family with luggages makes 2 trips to go down or up. Luggage storage room is open, no door and lock. And with note that they are not responsible for lost items.

Lovely stay, but not quite as good as when I stayed there 8 years ago.

Pros: Lovely little hotel. Room immaculate. Great location. Great to have 24 hr reception and I appreciated being able to order the taxi to the airport.

Cons: Would have been good to have more tea and coffee available and iron and ironing board in the room. Would be great if you could reinstate the breakfast service.

Pros: Accessible for Vatican and lovely restaurants close by. Also close to rail station

Cons: No cups or glasses for drinks, only plastic cups. However, we did get both when asked at reception.

Pros: I really liked the roof top patio on the 5th floor..It was beautiful looking down on the Basillica. The location was very good...a 15 minute stroll took us to the Vatican. The hotel was on a hill but we went out in the morning and stayed out all day getting a taxi back at night for around 15 Euros

Cons: There wasn't anything I could say I didn't like.

Good location and staff

Pros: A good hotel, the location is great, it's close to the train station of S. Pietro and about a twenty-minute walk from the Vatican. Staff are kind and polite.

Cons: It was quite annoying that they didn't put the TV remote in the room, and the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted, so you have to open the windows to not get cold.

Pros: Location of the hotel makes it exceptional. In the city center, just 5 minutes walk to the train station and 15 min to Vatican. It's not a luxurious hotel but good value for money. Definitely recommend for short stays or city break trips.

Cons: The room would need a bit of renovation. Other than that everything was perfect.

Great find close to vatican

Pros: Nice hotel in Rome for fair price. Easy walking distance to vatican. Room was practical. Great value for money. Were also able to store our luggage while exploring the city.

Cons: Room and hotel could be more modern. Need to walk up a hill after arriving by train. No problem for us but might be for others.

A nice little hotel and real value for money

Pros: The rooms were really simple and clean. The room was cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels also. The roof terrace was a real gem with really great views of some of St Peter’s and Rome centre. The staff were really friendly and we really liked the local area of San Pietro. Only a 15 min walk from the basilica and the Vatican, and a quick walk to Dan Pietro station to get into the city centre.

Cons: No food option or bar option were offered us. Didn’t matter as there are an infinite number of options for food and drink within Rome.

Great stay for 5 of us

Pros: It was perfect for us, we walked everywhere and so close to train station to get back to the airport.

Cons: We didn’t eat in the hotel and there are so many places local but if you had a trendy bar we would have had a drink in the hotel.
