Tamara e Gerardina House in Trastevere

Pros: Location was awesome. Walking distance to good restaurants. Host was good and communicative.

Cons: We had 4 adults and was very squished with no space for luggage and no privacy between the only bedroom and lounge room (which had the pull out sofa). Suitable and cosy for 2 ppl not 4.

Awesome location and a kind host

Pros: Great location! We easily walked to the historic centre and to the Vatican. The area is beautiful and not as touristy as the centre of Rome, which we really appreciated. There are plenty of delicious restaurants nearby. The host was very kind and welcoming. He gave us helpful recommendations, such as leaving our luggage at Luggage Storage run by Fernando. That was really convenient!

Perfect location

Pros: Great location, in a more quiet part of Trastevere, but close to many excellent restaurants. The host was very responsive. The check in was self made and the host is very polite and responsive. The kitchen was very well supplied, the fridge is a good asset and also the apartment has a lot of storage space. If we return to Rome, we'll definitely rebook this place.

Cons: The overall cleanliness was not 10/10. When we arrived, we saw that one of the bed sheets had some stains on it. After discussing with the host on WhatsApp, he apologised and sent the cleaning services to change them, so everything was ok from this pov. However, the bathroom had a strange petrol smell and overall didn't look properly hygienized. Also, beware of the very small shower cabin.

Location, location, location! Great apartment for couple or couple with kids!

Pros: Amazing location, super quiet and still just a few steps away from the hussle and bussle of the Trastevere quarter. The apartment had a small terrace which was quite nice, the room ist spaceous and everything was clean and tidy.

Nice comfortable apartment in a good location

Pros: Host was always responsive. Location was pretty accessible to the places we wanted to visit. Walking was always possible. Getting Uber rides to pick up and drop off at the apartment doorstep was almost not possible. Room was clean upon check in. Beds were nicely set up and comfortable to sleep in. Probably one negative feedback is the real small size of its shower room

Pros: Perfect location and setup for a small family. The apartment felt clean, cosy and had personality. It was a lovely place to stay. We were able to walk to all the major sights we wanted to see in Rome, and had wonderful Trastevere at our doorstep to enjoy at all other times.

Perfect location to stay

Pros: The apertment’s locatin is perfect. You can walk everywhere. All important places are on walking distance. 3-5 mins to walk famous restaurants. Owner is very helpful. He is fast responsive. He is heliping a lot when you need.

An excellent (quiet) apartment to explore Rome.

Pros: Fantastic location and a lovely apartment. The sofa bed was so comfy! The shower is small, so you have to be a bit careful when showering, but the central location right in the heart of Trastevere was amazing. We have a 7 year old and it was a great apartment for those looking for a place from which to explore the city. We walked into the Centro Storico almost every day as it only took 20 minutes to get to the main sites. We did get a taxi to the Colosseum which cost €8. There was very little noise when the windows were closed at night, we certainly didn't have any problems sleeping at all. It was as central as we wanted with the level of noise we wanted too. An excellent apartment and we'd love to use it again when we return to Rome. The bonus of the outside courtyard is a good thing too.

Cons: Small shower, but it's very central so space is at a premium.

We had a great time.

Pros: Clean Room in the center of Rome. Easy access. Many restaurants and bars. Fully equipped kitchen. Simple outdoor space.
