Trastavere is great!!

Pros: The location and the staff were great - in fact exceptional. It was clean and had all we needed for a short stay.

Cons: The room was on the third floor which was a bit hard for two people in their sixties. Our bed took up the width of the room so we had to climb in from the bottom each night. I know not all the rooms are like that so guess we were just unlucky this time.

Great 50th birthday break for my Italian husband and great first time trip (American) for me. Will definitely come back

Pros: Close to everything and yet in a small community with lots of funky bars, restaurants and shops, if we didn’t want to go to the main attractions for an evening.

Cons: Nothing. Perfect.

Very relaxing made extra special due to them granting our special request

Pros: Very central in Trastevere very lovely room incredible value for money and the room was very very clean

Cons: No extra amenities however this wasn’t a problem for us as we had a short stay

Perfect base for few days exploring the city

Pros: Great location, perfect spot for a short walk into city centre and located near plenty of great foodie spots for evening meals and breakfast. Perfect base if you are looking for a basic room if you are planning to spend most of the day out and about in the city. There is a lovely roof top terrace which we enjoyed evening drinks on with a great view of the city! Rooms were comfortable and clean, comfortable beds and good amenities provided (little fridge, working air con unit etc!) Easy check in / check out process and reception is manned at times throughout the day

Pros: Quiet location but close to nightlife in Trastevere. Big rooms.

Cons: Sometimes a drain smell from bathroom

Cons: Shower drain didn’t work very well so bathroom floor flooded

Pros: Great location if you want to escape the busy main streets and have a relaxing walk in the evening. Lovely restaurants near by and 20-30 minute walk from all the main sites. Great communication from the hotel. Fantastic air con which was much needed in July. Comfy beds.

Cons: As it is an old building, would recommend an extension lead as plugs were limited (one by the bed). Not a deal breaker just something to add to the packing list.

Pros: Great stay, super location. Close to lovely restaurants and in a quite part of Rome.

Clean and tidy, great communication, very helpful, ideal location, quiet at night.

Pros: The apartment was in a good location, close to the vibrant area of Trastevere where you are not short on restaurant choice, and only a short walk from the main attractions. Jessica was very helpful and very responsive. It was a charming place, modern and clean. We would not hesitate in staying again if we were to visit Rome again.

Cons: We had to come home
