Pros: It's was a great experience. The apartment location was incredible , just two minutes walking of St Peter's Square and St Angelo castle, 10 min from Trastevere, and rapid acces to historical Rome downtown.

Location close to Vatican city

Pros: Location near Vatican city which was the main reason we booked the apartment. Spacious and fully equipped. The host was very kind to allow us checked-in a little earlier and provided helpful information on transportation as well as restaurants nearby.

Cons: Lots of stairs. It can be challenging if you have heavy luggages or have mobility issue. As indicated by previous guest, the apartment is on the basement and the elevator does not go down to the basement. You need to walk 1 flight of stair up with 14 steps from street level to first floor, then 2 flights of stairs with 22 steps down to the basement / ground floor. Only one set of keys provided. You need a key to open the main building entrance and to turn on the light in the apartment. So, if you have 2 or more persons, and one of you need to go out and take the key in order to reenter the building, the others who stay in the apartment will be left without light. .

Pros: -Absolutely LOVED the location - so close to the Vatican! -Very kind and accommodating host that allowed us a late check-out without any difficulty -Clean and modern property with everything we needed -Comfortable beds -Safe and tranquil area -Comfortable temperature without air conditioning since it is in the basement -Lots of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood -Easy access to public transit

Cons: -Slight musty smell because it's in the basement -Two bathrooms were in the description, but only one was available -Having the electricity and house key connected is inconvenient if one person wants to stay and go to bed and another person is out of the apartment -Upstairs neighbors vacuuming at 23:00
