Budget apartments near the city center for undemanding travelers

Pros: Our one-bedroom apartment (44 m²) was located somewhere between the ground floor and the basement level, so the windows and the door were always closed with shutters, but that didn’t bother us. It’s very close to the city center, and there is a direct train from FCO Airport to Roma Ostiense station. The host, Angelo, waited for us for a late check-in, and on departure he allowed us to leave our luggage in his storage room.

Cons: In the bedroom there was a wardrobe that smelled of mold. If it’s replaced, everything else is fine. The frying pans are old and all scratched, but that’s to be expected in a rental apartment.

Pros: Comfortable appartment, all necesary things inside, very comfortable location. Many attractions are reacgable by feet. Metro is near. Taxi from center is 10 euro. Mattress quslity was very good for sleeping. We also closed door by accident with keys inside. Personell came fast to save us:)

Cons: With windows to the supermarket yard it is noisy in the morning. But with clised windows and A/C on it is acceptable:)

Pros: Great location, couple minutes away from public transit, very clean, recommend 100%

Pros: We had a great stay! The apartment is very comfortable and perfect for a family trip. The location is excellent — close to everything we needed. The host was very friendly and always ready to help with any questions.

Great location with a great host

Pros: Host was excellent. We were travelling with family so needed flexibility in checking in and out. Host was very happy to help. Also provided guidamce throughout the stay. Apartment was very good too. It had all the essentials. Very clean and nicely decorated. Being able to do laundry was a big plus. The ACs worked very well. Next door is a small todis shop which had all the things we needed, snacks toiletries fruits juices food etc. location is very convinient. Piramide station is 5 mins away, and we were not more than 25 mins away from any key location. Added bonus was Roma Ostiense station which is a 10 min walk that goes directly to FCO airport.

Pros: A very friendly host, I spoke with Angelo and he waited for us at the airport (for a fee, of course) and we were very happy with this service. The apartment is perfectly located for any form of transport, metro, bus or tram and a few meters literally a grocery store. The apartment very clean and the kitchen is very well equipped.

The apartment is good and worth the money

Pros: + location + very clean + comfortable beds + everything you need in the kitchen + good host (always in touch)

Cons: - poor sound insulation (you can hear your neighbors and everything that happens on the street) - old plumbing in the shower

Amazing Easter break

Pros: A perfect house. very close to the train station of Ostiense so very convenient for the airport and even more close to the metro pyramid. If you are a walker its very easy to get by foot the touristic part of Rome. The house is fantastic very good size and very well decorated and comfortable. The host is very nice gives you all the information. Close by there are supermarkets and very nice restaurants. We love it, highly recommended.

Great stay and really nice host!

Pros: Very convenient location. Lots of amenities around it with a 24 hour pharmacy; supermarket and restaurants within 5 minutes of the flat.

Cons: It’s in the basement and you need to carry the suitcase up and down the stairs. It’s not a deal breaker for me but travelers with mobility restrictions should be aware.
