Big Home In Vatican

A large, clean and easily accessible place.

Pros: The apartment is large, clean, in a safe area, close to the vatican and public transport. The host was friendly, met us in person, offered advice and a map. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Good location, with both the metro and the bus station just 2 minutes away. Groceries stores just round the corner. Good restaurants too.

Pros: The apartment's location is fantastic – close to the metro, the Vatican, and shops. The staff are wonderful people who are always happy to help with any questions. Communication with the staff was smooth throughout the entire stay, with no issues at all. Even when an unforeseen problem arose, it was quickly resolved. Thank you for the stay, and I highly recommend this place!

Pros: Paola was very helpful, answering every question we had immediately! She arranged transportation from and to the airport and let us leave our stuff at the apartment when we were too early for check-in. During our stay, we had trouble with the showers, but she made sure that the problems were fixed as soon as possible. The bedrooms in the apartment are huge and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have our own kitchen and a shared living room. The location is very close to the subway and there are lots of restaurants, cafes and grocery stores nearby.

Cons: Like someone else mentioned, the apartment is becoming a bit run down (but with such large groups staying here I can understand). The shared spaces (kitchen/dining room) are a bit small for 8 people and I would have liked a more comfortable couch. The shower cabins could use better cleaning. But all in all the apartment was very convenient for us and we had a pleasant stay.

The place was functional, not luxurious.

Pros: The property was big and spacious, with three double bedrooms and two bath rooms. It's location to get the metro into the centre was excellent. Each bedroom had a TV but the only the one in the lounge could get Netflix etc so being English the others could not be used. The bedrooms all had their own AirCon unit, but you had to keep the doors open if you wanted to cool down the lounge. The building and the flat was very clean, the balconly stunk of old cigarettes. Beds were comfy enough.

Cons: The place had started to look warn, marks on walls from furniture, crack in some woodwork etc. It was modern, but could do with a spruce up. It could have done with an Aircon unit in the lounge and a sofa that was comfy, not just a bed settee. The cups and glasses didn't match and the kitchen all a bit cheap. One of the shower heads would not stay in place. The place was functional, not luxurious. One bathroom was really nice. The city however is a dump, rubbish littering everywhere, it has some great monuments to visit, but apart from that it's cheap shops full of tatt and street traders selling fake goods. I have never seen so much graffiti. The police were only bothered if you sat on a set of steps or a rock, blowing whistles at visitors. All the fake goods and people trying to con you in the street were just over looked. And don't get me started on the drivers! We had been in Verona, Florence and Milan and they were so much nicer!

Pros: A comfortable clean quiet apartment away from main busy locations staff were very helpful 30 mins walk to Vatican 5 mins from metro would highly recommend

Pros: Paola was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment was in a lovely building near Cipro

I would absolutely stay here again.

Pros: We were met at the door and handed the keys and showed around the property including how to use the appliances.

Cons: My only complaint is I wish I had arranged for early check-in (my own fault) as I got confused with the time change and could not check in immediately when we arrived as we were early.

Well located, easy street parking, spacious accommodation

Pros: This is a huge apartment in busy Rome but it is quiet and peaceful and is well located to Vatican City precinct. It is a short walk to Metro that allowed us to easily see the main sights in Rome. We were a family of 6 - grandparents, parents and two children 10 and 8. We enjoyed the large bedrooms, two bathrooms and big living area. We were able to park on the street outside the apartment. An excellent stay.

Pros: We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights with 8 people (5 Adults & 3 children) The place is spacious and very clean. The subway station was 5 minutes away. Tania + Paola - the hosts - were very nice and very responsive to our requests and needs. I would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend this place. Veronica - the person who handed us the keys - was also super helpful and had many good recommendations for us.
